Has Debbie Wasserman-Schultz been benched?
Currently, Rep. Wasserman-Schultz is on a DNC bus tour making stops in places like Parma, Ohio and Dubuque, Iowa along with Sandra Fluke. These are swing states, so the GOTV efforts there are important. Still, the assignment also has the effect of relegating Debbie to small gatherings of like-minded Democrats and appearances on local news affiliates.
Rep. Wasserman-Schultz’s semi-retreat from the public eye seems to have begun in early September when a scandal erupted over some comments she attributed to the Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren. She claimed, in front of a group of Jewish voters, that the ambassador had said Republicans were “dangerous” for Israel.

Having her ride along with Sandra Fluke has to be punishment even for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. If Wasserman-Schultz weren’t a pernicious perpetual prevaricator, she might be SYMpathentic. Her willingness to say ANYTHING for the Dems makes her potentially a very useful tool for Obama-ites.

Even Anderson Cooper couldn’t believe it. He said that she lived in an alternate universe.
The funniest thing was when the CNN reporter asked her to agree that the change to the democrat platform represented a change in the democrat platform, and she said no. Hilarious!
I’m not sure how she thought she wouldn’t get called out on the fact that “it wasn’t a change in language” – that’s the first thing Anderson Cooper hit her on.

Even worse, Debbie Downer was in my hometown of Parma, along with the mayor at Zero’s HQ to press the flesh and score points with all the nice Catholic ladies who don’t have the first clue that Zero and Debbie support killing their unborn grandbabies. Stay classy, DD!
