Bully? Romney was pretty damn nice to Obama all things considered. He simply engaged him on substantive issues which is something Obama’s never had to deal with since 2007(except for maybe a few encounters with Hillary).

Romney was more respectful than ANYONE here at HotGas would have been to Obama. Certainly myself included. I was amazed at Romney’s restraint. Obama’s got all these plans, and talking about working across the aisle, and his last 4 years has shown it’s all been a big lie!

This is Not. Rope-a-dope. One of the major reasons the Regime has been pushing so hard on the pollsters to put the thumb on the scales has been to stave off a preference cascade. Throwing the first debate, to be followed by the Biden-Ryan baby seal clubbing next week would be too likely to get a preference cascade rolling, making a good showing by 0bama in the next debate irrelevant.
