New Samuel L. Jackson pro-Obama ad: “Wake the f*** up”
“Sorry my friend, but there’s no time to snore, the out-of-touch millionaires just declared war; on schools, the environment, unions, fair pay,” Jackson says to the child’s parents.
“We’re all on our own if Romney has his way. He’s against safety nets. If you fall, tough luck. So I strongly suggest you WAKE THE F–K UP!”

Blowback

Don’t tell me what to do Mace Windu!

Holy Crap that was creepy. Do you think it’ll get the same level of media criticism as Eastwood’s speech?
Nope.
hawkdriver on September 27, 2012 at 8:04 AM
No way Jackson! And do you know why? Because Obama is a snake on Airforce One!
Valkyriepundit on September 27, 2012 at 8:05 AM
He definitely belongs in the Useful Idiot Hall of Fame.
There’s so many of them. I wonder if it’s genetic.

Sit down Julias. Have a cheeseburger royale or something and STFU.
Padre on September 27, 2012 at 8:08 AM
Thanks Sam. Was just thinking I might pick up The Avengers this week and was on the fence, trying to justify if giving this loudmouth and Whedon even a minuscule amount of money from my purchase. Now I’m further into the not feeling like it camp than before.

Sam, you blew it. We’re sending in The Wolf.

What? Is John Friggin’ Kerry reporting for duty again?
rhombus on September 27, 2012 at 8:12 AM
No doubt he supported the millionaires Kerry and Gore as well. He apparently only dislikes Republican millionaires.

Don’t expect the American taxpayers to f#$%ing bail your sorry a$$ out of trouble!
Oh, & one more thing: STFU!
Badger40 on September 27, 2012 at 8:17 AM
Samuel L. Jackson just embarrassed himself BIG TIME. What a joke that guy is. Typical Obama voter. Doesn’t know the facts, so he just repeats what he hears from Rachel Maddow.
This utterly stupid ad is going to backfire.
bluegill on September 27, 2012 at 8:21 AM
Get this video on all the networks. Make this piece of trash be the face of the 2012 Obama voter.

Isn’t he one of those reprobate ignoramuses that makes faces for a living?

Low class….don’t get too cocky Obama campaign…..

The out of touch millionaire is Jackson: worth over $150 million.
Blake on September 27, 2012 at 8:29 AM
Speaking of this, I keep hearing this from all kinds of liberals AND even some wannabe conservatives.
The Federal Government is not here to provide a safety net to anyone. It’s powers are clearly enumerated.
If the people of a state wish to provide any safety nets, AKA socialist programs, for their citizens, let their state do it through the proper voting channels.
This is NOT the business of the Federal Government.
Badger40 on September 27, 2012 at 8:30 AM
Fewer handouts, but more jobs vs Muslim Brotherhood complete takeover.
Tough choice. /NOT
txhsmom on September 27, 2012 at 8:34 AM
LOL
Coming from the guy voting for the campaign who accused Mitt Romney of killing a woman, this concern trolling rings a little hollow.
This is just par for the course for the gaggle of blustering nimrods who support this administration.
Good Lt on September 27, 2012 at 8:34 AM
Samuel L. wants to keep giving America the “SHAFT!!!”
Bitter Clinger on September 27, 2012 at 8:36 AM
How else can the socialists takeover the US if they don’t create a powerful central government that controls business and everything we do?
darwin on September 27, 2012 at 8:37 AM
Do campaigns with supposed double-digit leads in Florida and Ohio tell people to “Wake the F up”? Just sayin’
The Count on September 27, 2012 at 8:40 AM
All of these celebrity video/spots are idiotic. I saw one by Sarah Silverman last night that was just pathetic. I’m going to wait until I know who Lindsey Lohan votes for, before I decide.

I happen to like Downey Jr.
So I’ll see it bcs of him.
Badger40 on September 27, 2012 at 9:04 AM
He wasn’t that great. His part could have been played by anyone. Obama can play it after we toss his butt out of office, Or better yet- Hillary. I can see her stomping around in a sinister looking turquoise pantsuit.
BettyRuth on September 27, 2012 at 9:05 AM
Cocky or desperate? PS, Libs invented low class. Remember some of the low class crap you used to post as DeathToMediaHacks? I mean really, even the screen name.
hawkdriver on September 27, 2012 at 9:06 AM
A perfect example of liberal minstrelsy. Look at the funny back man swear!
RedRedRice on September 27, 2012 at 9:13 AM
When did desperation start being described as cocky?

Dear God:
If you choose to punish Mr. Jackson for his arrogance, may I humbly request that you not take it out on the NFL team he does commercials for? I mean, God knows… er, you know, we Falcons fans have certainly suffered enough.
Respectfuly yours,

Mr. Jackson just blew his cover as an intelligent man.
lynncgb on September 27, 2012 at 9:35 AM
Classless, yes. But not shocking. After all, an official Obama ad mocked McCain’s war injuries back in 2008. Obama, Axelrod, Messina, etc. These people are slimy.
visions on September 27, 2012 at 9:37 AM
He may not be in it. His contract is up after Iron Man 3 wraps and he has stated that any deal post that will be for big cash, something Marvel has yet to any of the actors in its movies.
Betenoire on September 27, 2012 at 9:52 AM
How he could possibly actually think that amazes me…but sorry, Sam, I’ve been awake, and I’d vote for my dog before I’d vote for your guy.

A rich guy yelling at a rich family not to vote for the other rich guys, but instead vote for his rich guy.
Okay then.

Part of the basis of modern liberalism is a distrust of mankind. They assume if people fall only government can step in and provide. They don’t trust in the kindness and generosity of human beings to help their fellow man in need.
antifederalist on September 27, 2012 at 10:27 AM
This ad was an ironic comedy, correct?

Ditkaca on September 27, 2012 at 10:41 AM
Meh.
What else can you do after awhile but shrug and move on?
Kinda reminds me, oddly enough, of Star Trek: First Contact. The idea for Zefram Cochrane (James Cromwell’s character, the inventor of warp drive) was to show this revered historical person….as kind of a total jerk. Here’s the thought experiment: What if you get to meet famous, universally revered person X….and it turns out that they’re complete d-bags? (Cromwell’s Cochrane, to be sure, had plenty of redeemable qualities, and was really only an a-hole to the extent that his character completely eschewed the overbearing Trek altruism in favor of good ole’ fashioned self interest. But the thought experiment is still valid.)
I’ve experienced this so much with celebrities that I pretty much don’t care to hear what they have to say anymore. They can flap their gums all they want….I just don’t have to listen. It’s the only way to enjoy any entertainment anymore.
Hawkins1701 on September 27, 2012 at 10:45 AM
