Press to Romney:
“Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?”
“Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?”
“Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?”
Carney to Press:
“These people are protesting a movie, not the U.S.”
“These people are protesting a movie, not the U.S.”
“These people are protesting a movie, not the U.S.”
This would all be laughable if American citizens hadn’t been killed, and American embassies weren’t being burned and razed. The press is getting the same treatment that Romney got. Not that they care, really; somewhere at the end of the day they’ll just say to themselves, “well, as long as we get our lover Obama reelected, it’ll all make sense in the end!” Sick.
You’re Arabic is horrible. Let me translate that for you:
“Obama, Obama, we’re all Osama now!”
“Obama, Obama, there are a billion Osamas now!”
Obama! Obama! We know you killed Osama so you’ll help us out with that offensive YouTube video. Any chance you can get the Pope to pay for us to mutilate our women?
Alan Colmes is having a meltdown right now talking about Barry’s failed strategy in the Middle East. He must have gotten whiff of some internal polling coming out of Team Barry.
Punchenko on September 14, 2012 at 1:41 PM
Melting down against Obama or is he circling the wagons for Dear Leader again?
Doughboy on September 14, 2012 at 1:48 PM
Big time circling the wagons. Alan was screaming about how shameful it is to point out Obama’s failures in the Middle East and how his policies killed our Ambassador and his staff.
We’re supposed to turn our head the other way when Barry is killing Americans abroad and destroying their livelihoods here at home according to Alan. Sickening.
The White House is sounding more and more like the Iraqi Ministry of Information as U.S. troops were 2 weeks into their campaign.
Jay Carney, it’s like this. The 1st amendment to the Constitution prevents the government from punishing people for speech. You could nuke most of the country, kill most of its citizens, and the Constitution would survive. It will survive.
The Koran of Islam says, the punishment for slandering the Prophet is death. So the conflict is between the Koran and the U.S. Constitution. One or the other must bend. And it sure isn’t going to be our Constitution.
Why doesn’t someone in authority in the U.S. just stand up and tell the truth about this conflict? It’s the Constitution versus the Koran. No more, no less. Yes, Muslims hate us for our freedom. That’s exactly it. They hate us for our freedom of speech.

Ah yes, the last desperate refuge of the left.
“How dare you criticize the President on foreign policy?! Huh? What about the years 2002-2008? I don’t recall the political climate in that period at all.”
They hate the movie, but just to make sure everyone understands they torched a KFC restaurant. You know because…well because…chicken.
Bishop on September 14, 2012 at 1:52 PM
Is it just me did anyone else think “that must have smelled terrific”!
If this adminisrtation really believes what Carney said, any action they take from here forward will be catastrophic.
Just like a computer; crap in, crap out.
Even Al-Jazeera is saying the movie is just a small piece of the puzzle. American policy, past and present, is primary cause.
As noted by Breitbart News, restricting free speech critical of religion has been a key part of the Obama administration’s foreign policy since 2009, when it co-sponsored a resolution to that effect, together with the Egyptian regime, at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.
So the mealy-mouthed statement by the American ambassador to Egypt was perfectly in line with this action.
Otherwise we’re left to suppose, not only that it was independent of the administration, but that was not in keeping with policy at all.
I’m almost ready to believe that this is being done with the complicity of the administration to advance the OIC’s desire to prohibit anti-Islam speech.
I’m not quite there yet, but almost.
If this “a movie made em do it” excuse is swallowed by enough sheeople, they can riot because e.g. Sean Hannity said something they don’t like and can demand that he be shut up. Cui bono?

Bishop, one of the main reasons I come to HA is to read your posts. You knock it out of the park every time, all the time.
What I wouldn’t give to have you as my next door neighbor instead of that old bat who always tricks me with her knockout brownies and has her way with me out in her toolshed.
Obama has a wonderful vision for the world, of mutual respect, and love, and everyone getting along. A lot has contradicted that vision in the last few days. You know what you do with events that contradict your vision? You pretend they’re something they’re not! Coordination is a coincidence, hate is love, Islamic terrorism is senseless violence. What, you don’t believe in universal love? You reject Obama’s vision? Then you’re a hater, and probably a racist.
Blowback

However, with Him all things are possible.

After the sermons from the imams today, what were Not All Muslims doing in the ME today?
