Politico
Hmmmmm
Mike DuHaime, a top adviser to Chris Christie, is taking on a senior advisory role with the Republican National Committee for the remainder of the cycle, a source tells POLITICO.
DuHaime, a former RNC political director, has close ties to Romneyland, having worked with campaign manager Matt Rhoades and political director Rich Beeson.
DuHaime played a critical role in electing Christie in 2009 as the chief strategist and remains a top adviser to the governor, who is said to be on Romney’s vice presidential short list.

Pfffft. I couldn’t care less. It’s like arguing over the interior paint schemes on the Titanic.
Ouch.

Obama, Axelrod, Reid and, yeah, if Putin has something to say then he’ll get it too.

Yeah I have to back Flora up here. I think the last thing folks can accuse her of being is a concern troll.
Christie has been a cause of arguments among conservatives for a while now. Entertaining to watch, and he knows how to deliver a smack-down for sure, but there are legitimate concerns about his stance on certain policies, mostly social.
That said, I would totally stock up on popcorn if it was him. Whoo boy.

A very astute observation.

Funny how Palin is faulted for not having the proper gravitas and yet you’re touting a guy because you think he’s going to put horses’ heads in peoples’ beds.
There is no reason he can’t be Mitt’s attack dog during the campaign without being the VP candidate.

Flora, when you get it from the left, and from the right, you’re really thinking and doing something objectively right.
It’s fun to watch and experience. It’s often sad too.

Still waiting for all smart analysis from the insiders like Dick Cheney how Christie is no more prepared than Palin was to be VP. They have the exact same executive experience (Palin actually had more counting her time as mayor).
Christie would be a great attack dog like Palin was, the big difference however is he won’t deliver a single state and is a long way from being conservative. Guess that’s why we’ll hear nothing but crickets from the smart GOPe and insiders if/when he’s chosen.
