That is hilarious, and right on the eve of the largest sporting even on earth, the Olympics.
Meanwhile, Obama criticizing Mitt for leaving Bain for the Olympics, and where is Mitt? At the Olympics where he will be an honored guest, he saved America’s reputation by running the Olympics like a professional.
It it getting better every week…the only think Obama can do is drop back and punt.
You should be calling their bluff. Play the full context of the quote, which just makes it worse.

Agreed, I’m actually more offended by the beginning, as it suggests that hard work has little to do with being successful, that it’s basically just dumb luck.
Where can I find the full, in context quote? I’ve got a lib nut going off on my FB page claiming I’m selectively editing Onoes.

There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)
If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.
The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don’t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.
It gets worse every time I watch the relevant section.

ROFL
The little speech of his demanding that people look at the full comment, you can tell TFGRP is barely able to keep himself from saying “Eff off you dumb racists!”
When the POTUS needs to actually produce a slick little rejoinder you know the internals are bad, really bad.
It’s not just the words that are bad. The glee with which Obama asserts his opinion that successful entrepreneurs didn’t build their business without the government help makes it even worse.

Blowback

Love it – save it until the beginning of September though.
Only die-hards are following the NFL at the moment.

Only thing missing is a ref throwing an actual flag on BHO and Cutter’s post-play dissembling.

Google the most quoted part and you’ll find the rest. Or just visit the WH site, it’s on there.

Yep. Just play the whole quote. Every time he pauses, he knows he’s digging himself a hole; but it’s obvious he has no idea how to get out of it.

I actually watched him say it live on national television, so don’t tell me he was taken out of context.
The full speech is even more dire for him and you know it.
