Hillary supporters already pushing for 2016
Regardless of Hillary Clinton’s own deliberations, the fact that three such high-profile people seem to want her to run for president four years from now is significant. After all, if everybody around you is pressuring you to do something, it becomes much harder to resist.
And another presidential campaign makes a lot of sense for Clinton.
Though she would be one of the oldest major party nominees in history (assuming she won the Democratic nod), there has really never been a better time for her to run.
She’s basically the most popular female public figure — if not public figure, period — in the country, with about two-thirds of Americans viewing her favorably (comparable to Michelle Obama). And she’s got the kind of résumé most presidential candidates would kill for, as a former first lady, senator from New York and successful secretary of state looking to become the first female president…
“No one knows — least of all Hillary — if she will run,” said a top 2008 aide granted anonymity to speak candidly. “When the time comes, she will think about it, obviously. Why anyone would bring it up now? People just can’t resist trying to be the first with the answer.”

This sentence stands by itself as a testament to its writer’s idiocy.
Leave aside the fact that he thinks that two-thirds approval is good enough for “the most popular public figure, period.”
You would think that, upon having the thought and writing the sentence that Hillary is just as popular as the First Lady, a light switch would have gone on, on several levels.

I don’t know about Hillary 2016. Just sure that when I’m 68, the last thing on my mind will be to take on a new job. I wish Mrs. Clinton grandkids (c’mon, Chelsea!), good books with time to savor them, and a husband with a bum ticker who doesn’t want to die on top of some stripper.

No. Much as I’d like this to be true (just for a sporting 2008 re-do), you are wrong.

Agree.
Young Aaron Blake, the WaPo puff-piece writer is probably an idiot, as are most liberal MSM
journalistspundits. But, there is more at work here. Young WaPo ‘tool’, Aaron, is probably conscientiously putting down ‘markers’ to foster favorable attention to himself from such as Hillary. Aaron knows that currying favor, by arse-kissing, can pay off big career dividends for himself as the future years unfold

If Hillary really has her eyes on 2016 then she has to hope that Romney wins in 2012 and does as bad a job as Obama. It’s her only chance and this may explain Bubba’s pro-Romney soundbites of late.

If Hillary Clinton wants to run, now is the time. I am just not sure she can pry the torch from Obama’s hands. You could tell the little rivalry between the Clinton Campaign and the Obama Campaign has not ever been fully put to bed this week with Clinton’s slightly nasty comments.
As soon as the Clinton’s left the white house they started pursuing money for themselves. They were tired of begging for money from their friends, like for the house in Chappequa.
Chelsea worked for a Hedge Fund. Her Hubby made 5 million dollars working for a Hedge Fund. His father went to jail for Mistakes made working in investment banking. Don’t forget the banking craziness actually started under Clinton, not that we want to blame any past presidents, but he also began the push with Fanny and Freddie and Franklin Raines and a lot of people that walked away with a lot of cash came from the Clinton administration. This is not to mention the former presidents global financial reach and profit since he left office. All the while saying he doesn’t pay enough in taxes.
When we talk about having Friends on Wall Street, I think Obama is thinking about the Clintons.I think that the Clintons may be one of the reasons Obama talks a great game against Wall Street, but hasn’t done anything. And why Mrs. Warren was asked to take a walk and promised the senator seat from MA.
I think Secretary Clinton will be too old to run in 2016, I think they know now would be the time. She often appears in public looking worn out, and I don’t think Bill looks healthy. Now would be the time, if only she can insert herself as late as possible to get the bump from the media to win it. The Clinton’s don’t really live by the rules, maybe someone can fix it for them.
