Video: New Obama ad touts millions of jobs created

Over shots of tea party protesters, the narrator says, “Some thought our best days were behind us, but not him. He believed in us.”

The ad highlights the auto industry rescue, the death of Osama bin Laden, the end of the war in Iraq and job growth. It’s a more focused version of Web videos put out by the campaign last month touting Obama’s accomplishments and highlighting the crisis he inherited.

The problem is that more potential workers were created than jobs. If you have 2 workers coming of age and create only 1 job, you haven’t really done anything.

I know several people who are still unemployed and when they saw that commercial, they bout bit through spring steel they were so mad. I suspect that will be close to the same reaction all those drop offs in the unemployment numbers people will have as well. buh Bye BHO.

Obama is doing a great job on creating jobs. Bush was able to fix the economy my making more Gov jobs like creating Homeland Security. Obama was blocked from using that cheat and was still able to create new jobs. Real jobs not like the fake ones Regan created.

Obama is the right man for the job just like Lincoln was.

Food stamp expansion was signed by Bush. Obamacare is saving money now. Credit downgrade caused by GOP house obstructionists who refused to pass routine debt ceiling. Unemployment is not at a record level. It’s more than 2 points lower than Bush’s rate just after he left the White House.

GOP: “We have nothing to cheer but fear itself.”

Four years ago, George W. Bush was President — Gov. Romney will need to be careful, as it is clear that President Obama is pressing this point to the American people. Gov. Romney is in a box because he cannot show a way to be a Republican president that is other than the Bush model, and the Bush presidency is still toxic to most voters.

If a Republican president had ordered the move against Bin Laden, the anniversary would have been designated be “American Greatness Day” or some silliness like that. Patriot Day, anyone?

Obama, you’re “creating jobs” slower than (or now at the rate that) the population is expanding. That gets you a participation award but it’s not really making things better.

I’m reminded of the old joke about making a small fortune… first you start with a large fortune.

Same thing for Obama, sure millions of jobs may have been created, the only trouble is that many more millions of jobs have been killed by Obama’s policies while the few million jobs were created.
