The anger at Obama among SEALs is real
The frustration—or, even anger—within the SEAL community is real, and has been brewing for months, particularly among a politically conservative core of operators. It started immediately after the raid, with questions among the Special Forces and intelligence community of whether the president should have waited to announce the kill to exploit the intelligence cache at Osama’s compound. It simmered after a Chinook helicopter was shot down, killing 30 Americans, 22 of them Navy SEALs from Team Six.
Was it a coincidence, SEALs asked themselves, catastrophe hit Team Six so soon after being named as the team responsible for the killing?…
Over the past few days, I’ve reached out to a number of SEALs, both active duty and former. Most active duty SEALs were reluctant to go on the record venting or praising their boss, but one of the most interesting responses I received from an operator was to direct me to Leif Babin, a SEAL who left active duty last year.
Babin, who runs the consulting firm Echelon Front, wrote a little noticed op-ed in Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal four months ago. The headline: OBAMA EXPLOITS THE NAVY SEALS. Babin took aim at “the president and his advisors, writing: “It is infuriating to see political gain put above the safety and security of our brave warriors and our long-term strategic goals.”

The few friends I have who are SF think Zero is a dangerous little turd.
The “Hunt Kony” (because the video about him got 30 million hits on Youtube11!!!11) adventure is despicable.

You’ve got better lib friends than I do.
I’m not saying mine are as excited about Obama now as they were then, but, their new “hope and change” movement is OWS. So, they are going to vote for Obama because that’s the best chance of getting the ideals of ‘fairness’ promoted by OWS put in place.
Meanwhile, in San Francisco, the denizens of OWS are busy breaking windows and vandalizing mom and pop shops in the Mission district (all in the name of ‘fairness’).

I wish some former SEALS would go on the record. I liked last night’s 60 Minutes interview with the man who got the information KSM. At least KSM was not blown to bits with a hellfire missile along with collateral damage – innocent people. We went in there and captured him. We ruffled him up. (To liberals this means we tortured him) He lost a little dignity and the information that he gave led us to to bin Laden.
No according to the people who extracted the information out of KSM we no longer get any intelligence from our enemy. We just see their body parts fly over the place on camera ………………… and, hope we don’t kill the wrong person.

They have every right to be upset with this chump in chief..he outed the seals shortly after the raid..announced the killing so quickly that the intelligence received from it was pretty much useless..Taken wayyyy to much credit for it when 90% of the credit should go to the CIA and other intelligence officers and of course the seals…so yeah, Obama is trying to spike the Bin Laden football
