Rubio’s security increased after “credible” threat
The threat was deemed “credible enough to merit police protection in Washington, D.C., and at his home in West Miami,” the Miami Herald reported Wednesday.
The Herald said a police cruiser was parked outside the Florida senator’s in-state home on Tuesday night, even though he was not home. He is due to give what has been termed a “major” foreign policy speech at the Brookings Institute in Washington on Wednesday.

Conservative politicians pretty much constantly receive threats. And, since they’re from liberals it’s safe to assume they’re never credible.
This may just be a cover story for Rubio making the VP short list.
