Poll: 56% say Obama tried to intimidate the Supreme Court on ObamaCare
A 56 percent majority of voters think the president was trying to intimidate the Supreme Court when he publicly commented on the health care case and referred to the justices as “an unelected group of people.” Forty percent disagree. Most Republicans (81 percent), a majority of independents (61 percent) and more than a quarter of Democrats (29 percent) believe Obama was trying to strong-arm the justices…
There’s widespread concern that if the court were to uphold the requirement to buy health insurance it would mean the government could require people to buy other things. Fully 71 percent of voters are either “very” or “somewhat” concerned by what this would mean going forward.
The Supreme Court has the best job rating of the three branches of government. Overall, 48 percent of voters approve, while 33 percent disapprove. The remaining 19 percent are unsure.

A poll recently completed by NBC/ABC/NYT/WaPo/DailyKOS found that 56% of Americans are racist.
Coincidence? I think not.

100% of lib trolls named lester are ignorant of the intimidation tactics Obama’s idol, FDR, effectively used to scare scotus into submission.

The pResident can scold and shake his finger all he wants, but short of inciting riots in front of the court he’s practically toothless and the SCOUTS knows it. It must drive him crazy(er).
MelonCollie on April 13, 2012 at 4:42 PM
Sure he does. Barry/Baraka, that world-famous expert in U.S. constitutional law, can intimidate the Supremes with his vastly superior knowledge and intellect.
Scalia probably has nightmares about it!

Wow. Obama ain’t foolin’ no one no more. The emperor is naked! For the first time in 3 1/2 years, I am proud of (56% of) my country!
Rational Thought on April 13, 2012 at 4:42 PM
But as this poll suggests, if the Court goes against Barack and those riots come, he’ll get the blame. Team Obama has got to be shaking in their boots right about now.

I have to ask what hasn’t bho tried to intimidate since elected?

Okay can we dispense with re-quoting the troll’s comments?

I see a lot of potential for a lot of dangerous activity this summer. OWS. ObamaCare nullified? Zimmerman acquitted/mistrial/charges tossed? And it will only reflect negatively upon this administration if violence breaks out. People are sick and tired of the Marxist agitprop perpetrated by ignorant yutes and racist hucksters. I pray we peacefully dump this schmuck.
NotCoach on April 13, 2012 at 4:50 PM
I pray we have a peaceful transfer of power, too, but if Barack wants a violent swan song, so be it. It will still be his swan song.
Rational Thought on April 13, 2012 at 4:56 PM
Yeah, but the one singing his swan song could also be the proverbial fat lady. I too pray for a peaceful transfer.

I think the only thing Obama accomplished with that silly political attack on the court was for even the liberals on the bench to extend their middle fingers in his general direction.

I remember when Obama tried to intimidate the Supreme Court a couple of years ago at the State of the Union Addredd — how has that worked out for him so far?
Axion on April 13, 2012 at 6:27 PM
Here’s something that disturbs me.
Lets stipulate that Obama has attempted to intimidate the Supreme Court of the United States.
Just exactly what could he do? Make more disparaging comments in the press or during a State of The Union address?
Does anyone seriously believe that Scalia gave this intimidation a microsecond of consideration?
It would give me no greater joy than to see a member of SCOTUS yank up that robe and just moon the hell out of Obama. Because thats the only “respect” SCOTUS should have for him.

A minor point, but its important to understand the difference:
If SCOTUS strikes down ObamaCare, they will not be ‘going against Obama’. They will be ‘defending the Constitution’, and you.

Lester you’re a tiresome tool…another liberal who probably goes to sleep at night thinking he is a free thinker and independent. You are a hardcore dupe and water carrier. Of course that was Obama’s intent.
There is a pattern:
