Gingrich to Santorum: I’ll take Romney over Obama any day
“I want to start with something Rick said tonight that I frankly was very surprised that he said and that I hope he’s taking back,” Gingrich told the Baton Rouge Tea Party event crowd referring to Rick Santorum’s comments earlier today…
“I may have some very substantial disagreements with Gov. Romney. There is no doubt in my mind that if the choice was Gov. Romney or Barack Obama, we would have no choice,” Gingrich said. “The danger of Obama is so great that I would hope that every candidate running – Ron Paul, Gov. Romney and Sen. Santorum – that we would all agree that whoever becomes the Republican nominee, we have one common goal and that is to defeat Barack Obama.”

Check out Boss Emeritus, who briefly explains why there is no way any of us could consider supporting Obama.
AG McDonnell will work more about seeing justice served in the US, rather than covering up a multitude of scandals.
Ann Romney isn’t anybody who believes she has the power to determine what America eats and does on the basis of having arms like a longshoreman.
And Mitt Romney, whether you believe he truly desires to govern from the right, will be beholden to his party and the conservatives that form its base. Even those who don’t believe he’s principled have to realize that he isn’t stupid…

Once again, Newt proves he would have been the best nominee out of this bunch.

So the theme is “Vote for Romney. He’s almost Obama, but not totally…and we might get lucky.”

Thank you…I wish Sarah was running but that’s her for decide, not us. Until then, we’ll all unite for the common good.

As I’ve said before, if Romney were to leave the race I would actively campaign for, and donate money to Newt Gingrich: A man I am pretty much repulsed by, in order to get Santorum, a man I despise, out of contention.
I havn’t seen anything about it this morning, but has The PA idiot started trying to walk this disaster back yet?

Newt was pretty PO’d at Romney coming out of Iowa and he said things he should not have, but he never went as far as Santorum just did. I think Newt just made up for some of his earlier ill advised comments. And Santorum has demonstrated why he should not be the GOP candidate.
No GOP candidate should ever say anything like this. Image GHWB saying in 1980 that it would be better if Carter remained President if the alternative is Reagan. Oh, and I think we can cross off Santorum as a viable VP candidate.

Santy got desperate, desperation bred stupidity, stupidity took over his ego, and finally ego made his mouth say something very wrong. Santolio is cooked and done.

Newty gets it. Why doesn’t Santy? Maybe this is the reason why Daily Kos and Big Labor were working so hard for Santy… Some of us are dedicated to making sure that ObaMao doesn’t get reelected. Apparently Santorum and his followers have another agenda.

Nope. Vote for Romney because he can actually defeat ObaMao. Santorum can’t…which isn’t a big deal for him, apparently, because he’s cool with ObaMao gettin reelected.
cicerone on March 23, 2012 at 8:39 AM
I’ll take Newt over either of them at this point.

Five months ago, Santorum was in 9th place. In his own wildest dreams, I can’t believe he ever imagined he’d land in the Top 2 just a few months later.
At this point, who’s to say for sure that he isn’t sabotoging his own campaign?
