“What’s wrong with the nutjobs on the right?”
What’s wrong with the nutjobs on the right? The loons at NRO were gushing for Mitt in 2008, and now he is persona non-grata all b/c he lost friggin Colorado. Our best shot to beat O is clearly Mitt, journalists know this, O knows this, and pols know this. Santorum is animated by one issue – stopping women from having abortions – do these idiots at NRO not know that is not a winning issue in a national election? I don’t see how Mitt escapes from the pincer between the nuts on the right and the journos/dems on the left. He should just break to to the left this afternoon and tell these nuts f u, get an effing job for a living.

A Mitt supporter who wouldn’t mind if he broke to the left? Now there is a shocker.
Kataklysmic on February 10, 2012 at 1:13 PM
Were Mitt to break any harder (or more repeatedly) to the left than he has already, he’d instantaneously transform into a teetotum.

Bush = “Coalition” = bad
Obama = “Friends” = good

Oh man, that would be so friggin’ sweet.

Doing a good job so far – better than I expected

There’s nothing wrong with us, apart from being stupid, bitter, clinging to our bibles and guns, racists, and borderline violent.
The Rogue Tomato on February 10, 2012 at 1:21 PM
Apparently, everyone important knows this. Too bad the American electorate thinks differently.
Go Rick!
BTW, I shorted Romney, Gingrich, and Paul. Long on Santorum and Palin.
The Palin IPO never happened, Santorum is doing nicely. I’m about to score on the Gingrich investment. C’mon Romney….keep dropping!

As you can see at 1:20 in the following video, it’s just a jump to the left:

Who knew Chudi was such a potty mouth.

The fact that this Romney supporter is calling those to the right of him nutjobs tells you all you need to know. FYI Obama caved on the abortion issue: http://nbcpolitics.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/02/10/10371870-obama-revamps-contraceptive-policy
So maybe we weren’t nutjobs after all….maybe we were citizens concerned about freedoms.

Where does this come from? I mean seriously. I’m as pro-life as he is, but it’s not what he’s out there speaking about. Everytime I hear him speak it’s about the economy, the Constitution, freedom, etc. He’s stated his pro-life position, but beyond that, I don’t see him crusading on about it.
Why do loons like this author see him as a social boogey-man? Do they really believe he’s going to get elected and begin issuing EO’s forcing chastity belts and abstinence? Do they really believe that even if he did, it would hold up as enforceable? Good grief, let’s stick to the real issues.
Frankly, this author is the true loon. They really need help.

CPAC – good speech Mitt – a little better than Santorum’s – IMO

Sorry, too late for your guy to challenge Obama in the Democrat primary.

ObamaCare changes everything…
Fallon on February 10, 2012 at 1:45 PM
Yeah, Romney really needs to stop trying to get conservatives to vote for him and concentrate on trying to get as many Obama voters on his side as possible. Good thinking. /
Aitch748 on February 10, 2012 at 1:47 PM
If Mitt Romney was really about to beat The Bringer of 0bamaCare, and 0bama won’t be able to lay a glove on him in the fall….
WHERE are the Mitt Romney urinal cakes and voodoo dolls, the viral videos streaming across Facebook made from every time Romney has been caught by a camera picking his nose? Where are the Romney image macros where he looks derpy? Where are the urban legends about Romney laughing at starving people or whatever? Hell, where are the image macros made from the oh-so-exploitable money photo? Why has the Left not seen the need to fire up the droogs against Romney?
Because the word seems to be out that the Democrats are prepared to a T to take on and take him out in the general election.

seeing romney and supporters get stressed out over santorum… so much fun!! =)
thread has been won.
or this is another possibility.
basically, this is the person’s attitude. indistiguishable from obama’s attitude. when i read the headline i actually thought it came from an obama supporter. i was surprised to find out it had been a romney supporter. although i guess i shouldn’t have been so surprised, since romney and obama have some things in common!!
agree with these two comments!!

Well, if the establishment thinks we’re nutjobs, wouldn’t that, by virtue of the label itself, answer their own question as to what’s “wrong” with us?
You ain’t any great shakes, darlin’.
Stoic Patriot on February 10, 2012 at 2:25 PM
I’m beginning to think the joke’s on the moderate to liberal Romney supporters.
It supposedly goes like this:
-Moderate to liberal republicans think Romney is lying to us.
-We ‘know’ Romney is lying to us.
But is he?
I think Romney is closer to us than to moderate/liberals but he’s only beginning to understand that himself. For you who have been conservatives all your lives it’s difficult to understand. But those of us who thought we were liberals (even though not political) and came to conservatism later understand the process.
I’m becoming more willing to take a chance on him for four years but it will take constant vigilance and encouragement. We cannot help him if all we heap on him is scorn. Yes, I’m actually starting to like the guy.
