Romney: Stop taking my comments about the poor out of context
“No, no, no, no,” Romney said. “You’ve got to take the whole sentence, all right, as opposed to saying, and then change it just a little bit, because then it sounds very different. I’ve said throughout the campaign my focus, my concern, my energy is gonna be devoted to helping middle income people, all right? We have a safety net for the poor in, and if there are holes in it, I will work to repair that. And if there are people that are falling through the cracks I want to fix that.”
Romney explained further, saying his campaign has always been about helping the middle class.
“Wealthy people are doing fine,” Romney said. “But my focus in the campaign is on middle income people. Of course I’m concerned about all Americans – poor, wealthy, middle class, but the focus of my effort will be on middle income families who I think have been most hurt by the Obama economy.”

The 2 people I associate with assisted suicide are from both from Michigan, Mitt Romney and Dr. Jack Kavorkian. Mitt is the republicans answer to Dr. Kavorkian.

It’s cool because Rush told them it was cool to do it, on this topic today. Because Rush tubthumped it while lying and using a 65 to 1 Negative Ad study he was pounding all show (isn’t true btw.) Rush is tryng to save face for backing so many lame-o candidates this cycle. So are lots of these people.

It’s the tea party’s fault.It’s Palin’ fault.It’s Limbaugh’s fault. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Jeez.
This entire episode this morning apparently led Mr. White Guilt to go out and say he was in favor of automatic hikes in the Minimum Wage, as if THAT’S going to help the Working Poor.
It didn’t take long for Palin’s prescription of “vetting” to show what a f**kup this guy is outside of his Negative Ad Cocoon. He’s Greg Marmalarde.
Right on cue, to try and burnish Romney’s credentials as “Not Racist” he fumbles over his explanations and doubles down on his own brand of plutocratic a$$hattery. This is almost as bad as George Bush the elder complaining about broccoli.
Message to the Rombots on HA: when you’re own guy scores not one, but two Own Goals right after winning a banner victory over his rival, THAT should give you an idea about how well he’ll do this fall. When you’re stuck explaining yourself to the news media, you’re losing.
Ah, the Beltway GOP: they can beat Newt Gingrich, but they still can’t beat Hitler.
