My fav:
“This is a napkin.”
“I can call this napkin a paper towel, but it is a napkin. And why? Because it is what it is. Right? You can call it whatever you want, but it doesn’t change the character of what it is.”

I found This Tim Pawlenty quote to be most inspiring:
“I don’t know. I wish I had an answer for you on that.”
Miss you T-Paw.

Is the “blood libel” supposed to be a “best” or a “worst”?

I think Cillizza is usually pretty fair, but come on…only one Democratic quote.

“I’m the best friend Israel ever had”

I’d suggest that any of the Obamateurism of the Day posts for 2011 could be posted at the WaPo article in response to their list that is 80% Republican quotes.

There’s two though: Cuomo at #9 and Weiner at #2. Still it ignores Obama and Biden totally and there’s many 2011 quotes to pick from those two clowns.

“I need another term to finish the job.”
Makes my skin crawl.

I think the “horrors of self reliance” might be the winner.

Obviously he never read the OOTD And OOTW. Otherwise, Oboobi would top his list of dumb quotes by at least 500.

I guess that would make this thread Cold Air?

WaPo manages to find two Democrats to ridicule vs. nine Republicans. That’s probably a higher ratio than conservatives to liberals on their staff. So, I guess, good effort at political introspection, WaPo!

Journalist are truly despicable creatures constantly trying to mislead and misinform with revisionism.
This wasn’t a reaction to the attack on Gifford.
It was a reaction to blame the attack on the right and on Palin.
Journalists know it , but they stay away from truth as hard as they can.

“I didn’t hear [Eric Cantor] say anything when the Tea Party was out demonstrating, actually spitting on members of Congress right here in the Capitol, and he and his colleagues were putting signs in the windows encouraging them.”

Uh, no. She was responding to being accused of inciting the shooting of Giffords.
ddrintn on December 11, 2011 at 3:24 PM
Exactly. I said essentially the same thing, but the filter got me with the a-word, I guess.

“How many times has he said to us: ‘The Gospel of Matthew made me do it.’ So, in Charlie’s list of accomplishments, which are very too many to mention in this big crowd, standing this long — but they were about the Gospel of Matthew.” – Nancy Pelosi, about Democrat ethics standard-bearer, Charlie Rangel.

Right On. What do you expect from the Washington ComPost. They crowdsourced her emails. Sarah Palin was right and I love her for calling them out on it. She should be running.
