Tina Brown: Obviously, Obama doesn’t like his job
TINA BROWN: Well it’s so interesting. I think that Obama doesn’t like his job, actually. I think that he is genuinely of a professioral disposition in the sense that I think that he’s interested in chewing over the pros and cons, and he doesn’t like, he doesn’t like power and he doesn’t know how to exercise power. And I think knowing how to exercise power is absolutely crucial. He doesn’t understand how to underpin his ideas with the political gritty, granular business of getting it done. And that kind of gap has just widened and widened and widened. And so that every time there is a moment, a window where he can jump in, like something like a Simpson-Bowles as well, he just doesn’t do it. He hangs back at crucial moments when you have to dive through that window.

People tend to enjoy what they ate good at.

Sure Tina. Barry is a sooper genius and just too darn smart to be a good President.
There is no end to the lengths they will go to defend the failure that is Barry.
Y’know – cuz Marxism is really a GOOD idea.

Perhaps this is the optimal approach of a Lightworker.
Perhaps we just don’t yet understand.
We The People really need to evolve more; to “catch up”, so to speak, as to be worthy of His leadership style.
Frank J. Fleming (from “LMAO”), author of
Obama: The Greatest President in the History of Everything has some instruction on how we might adjust our thinking to appreciate this Lightworker.

I think Barry feels about his job the way Randal from Clerks felt about his:
“This job would be great if it wasn’t for the f—ing customers.”

he doesn’t like power and he doesn’t know how to exercise power.
I agree that he doesn’t know how to exercise power, but he seems to absolutely loooove power.

Yeah, the ideas are never the problem. It’s always the messaging, or the political system or something.

He had no problem jumping in during the Gulf Oil spill to shake down BP for a $10 billion settlment fund. He was right in the middle of the $25 billion give away of GM to the unions. He knows about street hustling and shaking down businesses. He doesn’t know anything about economics or budgeting, so he doesn’t get involved.

He doesn’t like power? LOL. This man craves power.

Obama thought he’d be elected and loved/adored by one and all. In his entire adult life he has never had anyone question him. Then as soon as he became prez, horror of horrors, people questioned him. And being questioned is something he simply cannot deal with.

Well, it’s like the saying goes from Spider-Man(or was it Teen Wolf?): “With great power, comes great responsibility.”
See, Obama digs the power. And he absolutely loves the perks(as does Mooch-elle). What he can’t abide is being held accountable for anything that goes wrong on his watch. That’s what truly frightens me about a lame duck term for the dude. He doesn’t have to worry about reelection anymore. And it’s clear based on how he’s acted since the midterm shellacking that he couldn’t care less about his party’s fortunes. So who the hell knows what he’d have in store for this country if he got 4 more years?
Doughboy on November 30, 2011 at 3:27 PM
Yes, but he’s like the proverbial dog that chases cars all day and doesn’t know what to do with it when he finally catches one.

He loves his job as destroyer of the free world. Oh she meant his other job as President of the United States, yeah, he doesn’t seem so enthusiastic about that.

Tina Brown hedging her bets, the Obama choir is starting to hit sour notes.
What’s good about Barack Obama? The good thing about Barack Obama is – he’s a gambler, the bad thing about Barack Obama is – he’s a gambler. When the twin devils were sitting on Obama’s shoulders Rahm on one side, and Pelosi on the other, he listened to his greater devil Pelosi, and shoved Obamacare down the American People’s throats. He should have listened to Rahm his lesser devil….but Obama is a gambler.
Tina Brown doesn’t know spit about Barack Obama, and his relationship to Power. Hint Tina, Barack Obama is a risk taker a big one.

Do you actually think that Obowma and Michelle don’t wake up everyday giddy as kittens knowing that just by taking a crap, they can influence our lives…?
Seven Percent Solution on November 30, 2011 at 3:38 PM
To have one of the MSM admit this is revealing.
Obama is the aloof, lazy, idiot we all knew him to be.

Tina tries miserably to parse ‘Doesn’t like’ with ‘Not very good at”

I dunno. He was pretty decisive when it came to sealing those Fast and Furious records on the Brian Terry murder, and having the FBI confiscate all the Solyndra records. I’d say the dude can move like a flash when his own ass is on the line.

She’s got a point. When I tried to pole-vault, instead of clearing the 8′ bar I snapped the pole in half, rolled for about 5 feet before getting hit with the falling bar and wedged my head under the mat.
My friends said, “He’s interested in chewing over the pros and cons of the mechanics, but obviously, he doesn’t like pole-vaulting.”
