“I’d give Obama high marks for fulfilling Bush’s foreign policy”
THOMAS FRIEDMAN, NEW YORK TIMES: I’d give Obama high marks for fulfilling Bush’s foreign policy. I think he’s been very good at executing Bush’s foreign policy, particularly the war on terrorism. Been very focused. He’s I think brought power to bear in a very smart way. He’s gotten the people he needed getting. In terms of his own foreign policy, I’d agree with Mort. I think it’s TK. I think the issues that he’s taking on himself whether it was Arab-Israel diplomacy, or building a different relationship with China, still to be determined. I think the key thing here is leverage.
JOHN MCLAUGHLIN, HOST: You don’t think the fact that he is carrying forward the Bush-Cheney policy that that diminishes what Obama is doing?
FRIEDMAN: Oh, no.

Blowback

Cut this way, Friedman appears to be making sense. Dare I click the article and find out some context?

Only Iraq and Afghanistan, which got Sharia Law Constitutions under W’s watch.
The rest is all Obama. Thanks to his Cairo Speech of submission.

Speaking of Cairo…. Zero certainly F’ed up Egypt. No wonder the tourist trade there is thriving….
The only “high marks” Zero gets are for vacationing and “present” and maybe just a “high” if he has returned to the Peruvian marching powder of his Harvard vacation days. (Explainable by his lateness to nearly everything except the daily all-you-can-eat taxpayer lobsterfest with Moochelle.) Moo-ooo-ooooooh-ving onnnnn uuuuuup! To the West Wing. We finally got a piece of the pie….

If Bush were still President the media would have never, ever quit ragging on how horrible Iraq and Afghanistan were going.
And now this tool is trying to paint it as some sort of victory for Obama.
Unbelievable.

Especially amusing since the ENTIRE PREMISE of Barack Hussein Obama’s presidential campaign was the REVERSAL of George W. Bush’s foreign policies.
Yet, here we are three years later and not only has Obama not reversed Bush’s foreign policies, he has validated them.
What’s more, he has emboldened our enemies.
Leaving copious amounts of your saliva upon the boots of your enemies will do that, you know.

Yep, that Sharia is in there alright. Now, if you will excuse me, since I live in the South, I need to go count my slaves. Did you know slaves states get to count 3/5s of every slave for their House apportionment? It’s right there in the US Constitution and nothing is ever going to change it.

Not surprising. Neocons believe in the same fairy tales as any other globalist liberal, especially the poster child for naive globalist world views – Thomas Friedman.
