Cheney: Will Obama apologize now for claiming Bush “overreacted” to 9/11?
“I think it was a very good strike. I think it was justified,” Cheney told CNN’s Candy Crowley on “State of the Union.” But “I’m waiting for the administration to go back and correct something they said two years ago when they criticized us for ‘overreacting’ to the events of 9/11.”
Obama “in effect said that we had walked away from (America’s) ideals,” Cheney argued. “I think he did tremendous damage. I think he slandered the nation and I think he owes an apology to the American people.”
The Obama administration has “clearly … moved in the direction of taking robust action when they feel it is justified,” Cheney said.

Now THIS is how a veteran of the political arena handles his opponents. Well done Mr. Cheney.

You guys better be careful about saying something nice about Mr. Cheney. Some of our Hot Air colleagues will call him a RINO.

If you want to understand why experience is so important when selecting a Vice President of the United States, read Dick Cheney’s new book In My Time and then share the book with a liberal friend. It is a wonderful book, filled with first hand history that I highly recommend.
In just the prologue to the book you will be amazed to read about all of the issues that Dick Cheney was dealing with on the morning of September 11th.
After reading “In My Time,” ask yourself if VP Joe Biden was really the most qualified person in the country for President Obama to select as our Vice President.
We were very lucky to have Dick Cheney as our Vice President for 8 years! Thank you for all you did to keep us safe, Vice President Cheney!

I’ve been to pick it up, sounds like a great read.
The issue of experience, particularly with Foreign Policy, is one reason I think John Bolton should seriously be considered by any candidate.
