Coming soon for Casey Anthony: A $1 million interview?
Veteran Hollywood communications expert Michael Levine agreed.
“She could probably get $1 million from an outlet – it could be a network or a tabloid-type magazine,” he said. “But I wouldn’t recommend she do that, because she’s such an unsympathetic figure and a known liar.”
News outlets could also face a backlash.
“Big money will be involved in the deal – millions,” said publicist and media strategist, Angie Meyer. “But those who are upset about the verdict will be upset even more if Casey is awarded a generous sum of money from networks and/or publishers for her story. It’s a disturbing trend we’ve seen trickle down throughout large cases in the past decade. Those organizations that have vilified Casey for the last few years will also be the ones to make her a millionaire.”
At least one network has already shelled out significant amounts of money for Anthony-related information.

In a city on a hill, Americans would have the decency, passion, and attention span to boycott any media outlet involved with Miss Anthony.

Whoever pays that money to Casey should rot since it is blood money we are talking about. And whoever watches ‘her’ interview might as well be an accomplice in the killing of Caylee.

She will be a multi-millionaire by the end of 2011, whether she is in jail for the perjury charges or not.

Why would anyone want to hear anything else from this chick? Do people harbor some fantasy that she’ll confess, free from worry due to double jeopardy?

Pfffft. Reminds me of the “OctoMom” sensation. Which quickly came and went in the click of an eye. Octomom, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Casey Anthony – this is your world Hollywood, not mine. BTW, Bill O “Reilly – this is how your bread was buttered once upon a time, huh?

No so-called journalist or newsperson will conduct an interview with this woman if they plan on maintaining a career. At least no one prominent like Barbara Walters or Oprah. Orenthal did do Up Close on ESPN shortly after his acquittal(where he uttered the infamous “people die every day” line), but that was a low key show and I doubt he got paid much for it.

She murders her daughter and not only is she not going to jail, she’s getting a million dollars to tell her lies to the media. Unbelievable.
SoulGlo on July 6, 2011 at 10:23 PM
Most shocking to me? Any network or magazine has a million dollars to spend on anything.

Really? What accomplice would pay her to capitalize on her babies murder? Oh! Jeraldo would… My society…ugh.
ronsfi on July 6, 2011 at 10:56 PM
Actually it would be closer to a $400k interview after her attorney gets his cut…
repvoter on July 6, 2011 at 11:09 PM
Yeah, I’d go with that, but only if they take a pledge to keep their clown noses on at all times.

Is it a crime for me to simply hope for vigilante justice?

Casey has had her day in court. Now it is time for her to leave the headlines.
Out of respect for Caylee, ignore Casey, the Anthony family and any media outlet that would even consider paying for an interview about this sad case.

Pay her a million… in pennies… and drop them on her from a helicopter.

Anyone know whether there will be a civil suit, perhaps by the father, like in the OJ case?
