Huckabee’s former campaign manager: I think he’s going to run
“Governor Huckabee is considering a presidential race seriously,” his 2008 campaign manager, Ed Rollins, told me. “He’s receiving quite a bit of counsel and encouragement. He knows he has roughly a June 1 deadline to decide. Personally, it’s my sense that he’ll go for it this time.”
The numbers are just too compelling to turn down casually.

Who actually admits to supporting Huckabee? Those who supported Perot?

Remember back in 2008 when Huck and Mitt were both claiming to be conservatives and they split the conservative vote thus handing the nomination to McModerate? Imagine Huck’s chagrin if he and Palin split the conservative vote this time and he winds up inadvertantly handing the nomination to his arch nemesis (and evil Mormon) Mitt who will now be running as the moderate.

Fine. The more, the merrier. I won’t vote for him in the primaries, but I suppose if I had to, I’d hold my nose and vote for him in the general if he (God forbid) were the nominee.
How’s that for a ringing endorsement? (Strangely, it’s pretty much the same endorsement I gave McCain in ’08….)

I still don’t see it. He’s put on too much weight and if he was going to run he’d be back in shape by now.
