Poll: 51% think Ryan’s 2012 budget cuts too much spending
Fifty-one percent of people questioned in the poll say the Republican proposal for the 2012 budget goes too far in cutting spending, with 47 percent saying the cuts are not too deep. But by a 68 to 29 percent margin, Americans say the proposed GOP cuts unfairly favor some groups more than others. And seven in ten also believe the Republican budget will affect their families.
“It all adds up to a mild advantage for President Obama on budget issues,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “Forty-eight percent of people we questioned say they prefer the president’s approach to the budget over the GOP’s approach, with 43 percent saying prefer Republican budget policies.”

Try cutting and the government will find mostly it wasn’t needed. If it was they can always add it a back but restricting it to avoid the abuse of the system they already knew but did nothing about.
With a few simple personal cuts that I can live without,I can easily save 20% of my take-home pay; drop cable TV, drop either house phone or cell phone, stop eating out 2x week switch to once , drop health club expenses- walk around neighborhood or park instead, garden to get summer fresh veggies, get a used car to save on payments and insurance costs. It isn’t painful stuff at all.
The government is addicted to spending because they want to be liked by everyone. I’d like them if they kept my money in my pocket and stopped trying to pick my pocket.
