McCain: I’m open to reviewing “whether our nuclear plans can continue”
“I’m not prepared by the way to say that we should abandon nuclear power because I think it’s a major contributor [to] our energy needs but I am prepared, once this is over, to make an evaluation as to whether our nuclear power plans can continue,” McCain said.

No I would be calling it idiotic the same way I criticized her for suggesting we not use the word retard, or for her commitment to ‘winning’ in Iraq and Afghanistan, whatever that means.

Would someone take the car keys away from grandpa and send him back to the dementia unit.
TYhe Senile Senator from AZ has escaped again and is creating havoc by pretending he has a clue.
Thanks AZ you had your chance and blew now the rest of us suffer.
If Sarah doesn’t get the nomination this is what we have to look forward to in 6 more years, some irrelevant RINO tearing the country apart while pretending he knows what he ate for breakfast, and is a brain surgeon!

My God you are getting tedious with your BS.
This post isn’t about Palin, it’s about McCain!
For one thing, Palin, an actual authority on energy issues, would never say anything as stupid as this. In fact, like everyone else with a brain, she’d tell everyone to stand back and take a deep breath.
Nuclear is undeniably one of the safest, cleanest form of energy. With that said, while it never hurts to continually review safety, it’s irresponsible as hell to get caught up in the hype of one of the worst disasters in history. (the earthquake and tsunami)
While the problem with the Japanese nukes is bad, it seems like many of the safety measures are working as designed. This could be one hell of a lot worse.
McCain is showing his lack of leadership and ability to be swayed by the fear mongers on the left.
As for Palin, she created an integrity board in Alaska to clean up the oil and gas industry. To make sure they were using best practices to keep from having disasters like oil spills and the like.
A review of nuclear safety is prudent, but to even HINT that you are rethinking it’s use is idiotic.
Now, take your deranged PDS on down the road.
