Out: Carbon footprints. In: Nitrogen footprints!
The calculator shows that on average, Americans consume about twice as much protein based foods each day than recommended by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
“If Americans just consumed only the protein, animal or vegetable protein, that they’re supposed to consume instead of over consuming we would decrease the nitrogen pollution problem in the United States by a very large number,” Galloway said.
Farms often times use fertilizers on crops which creates excess nitrogen. Galloway said producing food generates more nitrogen pollution than actually eating it.

In what way is nitrogen “pollution”? Can oxygen pollution warnings be far behind?
Progressive environmentalists wish all humanity dead. They’re the enemies of humankind. See http://www.vhemt.org/
The “moderates” among them want our numbers reduced by 95%. They don’t care about actually saving endangered species… they spend little money or effort trying to save any or preserving habitat.

These are the same kinds of idiots who would crusade against Dihidrogen Monoxide because it has been connected with millions of deaths around the world each year.

I say we start with the lefties first and work our way up.

Looks like the enviro-fascists are going for broke with this latest attempt to lower American living standards – this time through the food supply. The Earth’s atmosphere is about 78% Nitrogen and it is naturally present in all soils and every living thing on the planet. But your consumption of meat and dairy products is now destroying planet along with that nasty carbon dioxide that keeps causing plants to grow.

They do need to set an example don’t they.

Interesting that the “scientist” doesn’t know the difference between nitrogen & nitrates. Or is he really claiming that nitrogen, currently almost 80% of our atmosphere, is increasing?
Next he’ll be advocating to minimize our argon footprint (0.93%) by cutting back on welding and other technologies that use argon – whoops, I guess that means no more filling energy-efficient windows with argon between the double/triple layer panes.
These Chicken Littles just don’t give up on trying to convince us the sky is falling.

Doesn’t corn like nitrogen rich soil? That will definitely screw up the ethanol industry if you cut back on nitrogen. Cant the enviro-wackos get on the same sheet of music at least once in their existence?

Which means if you ever voted for or donated to a Republican candidate, you can forget about getting it.

Yet, our lovely flotus can consume a ‘mere 650 caloried’ Rib Feast.
I think it is only fair that the WH (besides brewing their own honey ale) give us all a taste of that wonder food.
