Delaware district rejects naming new school after Joe Biden
Though Biden, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from the University of Delaware and has represented the state in the Senate since the early 1970s, some were adamantly opposed to the school being named after him. Somebody set up an anonymous website urging locals not to vote for his name. One voter told the News Journal she didn’t want to put Biden’s name on the school because he sent his kids to private school.

Biden is still alive, and many school districts are wise to have a policy not to name schools after living people. All the dirt comes out after someone dies, and sometimes the dirt is diiiirrrrty.
