In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, St. Paul says, “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
This passage is so hard to follow but so worth it when you learn to. I enjoyed reading the post, it’s nice to get a little insight into Ed, who I read every single day, if I can ( Allah too) through his wife who seems like such a wonderful God loving person.
While giving thanks in all circumstances is an admirable sentiment, it stretches the limit of possible in case of Barry. and his acts to degrade and destroy America.
My dad was paralyzed before I was six, it’s the only way I remember him. As odd as it may seem to say I think it was his making. The only thing I am not sure of, is his relationship with God, but I am praying for God’s relationship with him.
So good to hear from the solid center of the Morrissey family. There’s more flash and color with the other half, but it works only because the base is secure.
Great article. As the Good Book says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Prov. 3:5-6
And
“All things work together for good to those who love God and are the called according to His purpose.” Rom 8:28.
Thanks for writing it, Marcia, and thanks for including it on the blog, Ed.

It’s easy to complain about lack of sleep, then I remind myself:
“Be glad you aren’t sleeping in a dirt concave.”

This should be a blog, not a headline. Everyone should see it.
