Who paid for Pelosi’s “accomplishments” party?
“No taxpayer funds or lobbyist money paid for the meeting,” Elshami said in an email to POLITICO.
When pressed further, Elshami said “No taxpayer or lobbyist. What more do you want?”

In other words…not her speakership.

It was money from a Bill Ayres bank heist in 1970.

Maybe they stole it from charities (the way Air America was funded).
It really should be paid for by all the new gov’t employees who make 150k+ a year. They do owe her.

Okay, I give up. Who pays when congressional representatives have a meeting with coffee and doughnuts, catered dinner, prizes, party favors, in a congressional meeting room on capital hill? Petty cash?
Skandia Recluse on November 11, 2010 at 11:55 AM
Foreign money! Foreign money!

Akzed on November 11, 2010 at 11:59 AM
One way or another, Soros paid for it. Fox News was there to get comments. Everybody there slipped out the back.

Well, we know for a fact that democrats never use their own money for anything, (e.g. stealing our money to fund their buy vote social programs), and we also know for a fact that they lie about virtually everything … so it probably was taxpayer money.

So when they say it wasn’t Taxpayer or Lobbyist cash, that means it came from Taxpayer or Lobbyist cash.

This party was held in a Federal building, so did it cost us something.

Your media people are starting to ask pesky questions Democrats. Better adjust to that.

SNAP! Rush just implied that Jim Clyburn could be Nancy’s new driver! hilarious

Oh goody…another round of RACIST!!!

I bet the folks at the NRCC would have gladly bankrolled it. The footage of Dem congressmen celebrating their “accomplishments” side-by-side with Pelosi will make for great 2012 ads.
Raisedbywolves on November 11, 2010 at 12:23 PM
You can bet it wasn’t the Chamber of Commerce…
right2bright on November 11, 2010 at 12:26 PM
Oh, so it was the taxpayer AND lobbyist. Gotcha.
DrAllecon on November 11, 2010 at 12:27 PM
Reminds me of last week when the White House denied that Barry and Michelle’s India trip wasn’t costing $200 million a day (despite the large Navy destroyer escort, the disassembled helicopters, the 3000-person entourage, the custom-built & air-conditioned 1 km. long “security” tunnel for Obama to use to go to the Gandhi museum, etc.).
It didn’t cost that much. Just trust us. We’d never lie to the public about how much government is spending, would we?

I would just like to know what congressman would have the nerve to attend a party, “for their accomplishments”, when we are facing such a horrendous financial situation…
