Democrats now using Jon Stewart rally to set up election phone banks
To be fair to Stewart, he’s done his fair share of reports attacking Obama and Democrats as of late. But did he seriously think that his rally would amount to anything other than an a thinly veiled excuse for Democratic campaign events? Does he really believe that snark and ironic detachment will be the prevailing mode of discussion just a few days before the election? Or should Stewart and Colbert just have admitted they were rooting for Democrats all along, and the purpose of this rally was to gin up support?

In Dem-speak, are “key voters” those who vote more than once?

Are they bringing in psychics to talk to the dead?
Speaking of voter fraud, HillBuzz has some musings on voter fraud being exposed as a huge scandal in the near future…
Could the Black Panthers, Voter Fraud, and other illegal Obama 2008 actions be the BIG SCANDAL the “White House Insider” was talking about?

Whoever thinks that this isn’t an attempt to ridicule the conservative and TP movement is naive at best

Yeah, I’m sure Eric Holder, and the media, will be all over this…

I figured they weren’t going to waste two days this close to the election getting high at some rally.

Good luck.
College football dominates Saturdays in most “non Dem” areas – namely the southeast, MIDWEST, SOUTHWEST and middle America.
I capped the key “swing areas” for the so-called indy’s out there.
OSU, Michigan, Minn, Penn St are all playing at 8PM eastern – there goes 3-4M people answering their phones…

Wait. I have been told over and over that Jon Stewart is just an entertainer and it’s just a comedy show.

No amount of phone banking is going to come close to overcoming the damage the rally itself will do to democrats. The video of a bunch of twentysomething snots openly disparaging everyone to the right of Keith Olbermann is going to be playing nonstop from the moment it comes out of their mouths through Tuesday. The number of people they’re going to utterly enrage will be incalculable.
This is possibly the single stupidest thing the liberals could possibly do just before the election. Just sit back and let them.

In the Bloomberg story linked in the update of this story they actually have the balls to say the Rock The Vote organization is nonpartisan.

Yeah, good luck with that defense, Jon. He’s married himself to the far left by holding this rally. Any nasty signs or verbal outbursts will be linked to him. Same for any insane diatribes uttered by one of the speakers.

No, they’re the ones with the keys to the voting machines and able to tamper directly.

That rally is going to be a bust and I can’t wait.
What are they going to do….?
Tell jokes for three hours ?
It might be a little harder to come off as so funny and witty when they do not have a sound tech to cue a laugh track for every joke.
Where are they going to get a crowd without paid union goons being bussed in ?
I think they may have overlooked the downside of having a low turnout.
It will make Democrats look weak.
