She started her report with, “Don, we’ve’ heard about this woman…” and closed out the same way. Holmes joked about it directly after. “Yes, I’m T.J., it’s alright,” he said. “She knows who I am, it’s okay.”

Tell that to Harris Faulkner.

TJ Holmes is a wuss.
This is pretty weak-tea. It happens a lot and should be no big deal. It’s really only noteworthy when the confused names share ethnic or racial characteristics.
The more egregious errrors come when there was time to research or correct the record but mistakes still get made. David Mills (RIP) — the best blogger in the world — used to do “misidentified black man” posts. Very funny stuff.
Really folks, there’s nohing to get worked up over. It’s not like she called him “0gabe” or “W00kie.”

Fox News does itself a disservice by hiding Harris Faulkner away. She gives it good.
But Fox News has also built up a brand around it’s hosts much more than other networks. Fox hosts are celebrities. This is there power.
Michael Steele will end up hosting a Fox News show and he will be successful at it.
