NYT scrubs Obama, Emanuel quotes boasting about Olympics
And the prospect of winning was too irresistible. After all, Mr. Obama has already envisioned the day when he could welcome the world to his hometown, never mind that small matter of reelection. “In 2016, I’ll be wrapping up my second term as president,” he told a rally in Chicago in June 2008. “So I can’t think of a better way than to be marching into Washington Park … as president of the United States and announcing to the world: Let the Games begin!”…
“They shouldn’t try to make politics of this,” Rahm Emanuel, the White House chief of staff and a Chicagoan himself, told ABC News. “I think they should take some pride in the U.S.’s win, and you know, we’ll make sure they get some good seats once Chicago does host the games.”

An old Soviet joke: “The future is easy to predict. It’s the past that keeps changing.”

Pfffft. They’re still exclusively into sites like HuffPo and DKos.

Now, I can’t wait to see when the NYT starts scrubbing the boasts about Obama saving the economy…

Americans are known to punish such arrogance, and they must do so again.

What a day it is in media affairs when Pravda has more credibility than the NYT.

This is nothing new-some of their articles from the days after 9/11 also mysteriously disappeared.

It’s almost as if the NYT isn’t interested in informing their readers.
Almost.

Meh, soon the whole NYT will be scrubbed from existence.

That Obama quote about the end of his second term is chilling. I realize his political enemies say “It’s all about him, it’s all about him,” but when you read that, you realize, it’s all about him. He thinks he’s a king. He’s the President of the Narcissistic World of Obama. If this country doesn’t kick this sad, sick man to the curb in 2012, it deserves everything his oh-so-obvious psychosis rains down upon it. It’s bad enough that he’ll be around as an ex-president for years and years and years, but as a failed one-termer, we’ll have to endure perhaps just a little less of his narcissism in the future.

And that day can’t come soon enough.
I wonder what Barry will actually be doing in 2016. We know he probably won’t be wrapping up any second term as president. More likely to be wrapping up his divorce from the perpetually aggrieved Michelle, or wrapping up the book tour for his 8th autobiography, or some such thing.

Look more closely at what they’re taking out and what they’re leaving in.
The liberal media trumpeted the Hell out of this trip. So they can’t completely pretend it never happened at all. What they’re doing is re-writing history to make it look like this was all some little side project by MICHELLE Obama, and Barak was just humoring her and going along for the ride.

“In 2016, I’ll be wrapping up my second term as president, so I can’t think of a better way than to be marching into Washington Park alongside Mayor Daley, alongside Rahm Emanuel, alongside Dick Durbin, alongside Valerie Jarrett as President of the United States, and announcing to the world, ‘Let the games begin!'”
That’s the whole quote. Copy it, paste it, keep it. Make them choke on it!

Of course if he is removed from office because he’s not eligible or has committed some high crime or misdemeanor then he’d be an ex-president WITHOUT benefits. As I understand things, if he committed fraud before his inauguration, he could be forced out and tried as an everyday citizen just like you and me. Afterall, I want to be sure he gets a swift and speedy trial don’t you?
Food for thought.;-)
