I know Garry Miracle personally. He’s a personal injury trial lawyer. My office is next door to his.

Whatever you do, don’t disagree with him about Obama when his wife is around.
Loxodonta on August 7, 2009 at 7:56 AM
Can you deliver a message from HotAir readers???
hoosiermama on August 7, 2009 at 7:59 AM
If you watch the entire sequence of photos, you’ll see Mr. Miracle was jabbing his finger into the other guy’s chest first. His wife tried to pull him away and then decided it would be easier to attack.

First of which, “Lose some weight or you’re gonna be at the top of the list of ‘sorry, we can’t help you.’”

Man I guess I will have to bus myself to Florida to get in on some of the action. Here in Louisiana – neither Mary Landrieu nor Charlie Maloncon (the only two Democratic reps we have) are daring to hold a townhall here. They’re hiding from their constituents like little turtles.
I’m going to a Steve Scalise event – but he’s a Republican who has opposed this from the very beginning. That will be a “Love In” … but I PRAY some ACORN show up.
Here’s a novel idea – why don’t the states who want universal care just enact it for themselves? Leave us diehard red States out of it. Why does the national government want to force something on us when we opposed it at like 80 percent?
Busy Bodies.

Can anyone ID the t-shirt with the star and the donkey in pic #5?
The wearer was very close to the shirt ripping victim.

Yeah, that’s him.

So a “class” “rations” health care, you Marxist twerp?
All you want to do is make sure the government, at the point of a gun, rations it. And that means more people will be denied care. It’s simple – IF YOU WANT INSURANCE, GO GET IT AND PAY FOR IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.
Give us names of the “class” leader who is “rationing.” Name names.
Be specific. Show your work.

^^That’s an IDIOT right there. That’s a guy who wants the State to care for his every need like his Mom or something.
Glad I’m not like that.
Hey bro – Hugo Chavez wants you! It’s not too hard to learn Spanish – he’ll take care of you.
HondaV65 on August 7, 2009 at 8:25 AM
And some people want 50 different choices when it comes to what cell phone they can buy, or where they can go on vacation, or what type of beer they can get at a bar, but are willing to settle for one choice when it comes to health care.
BadgerHawk on August 7, 2009 at 8:28 AM
This may be the excuse they need to stop meeting with constituents. Should get even more interesting after they pass this crap.
Anyone seen Castor’s district? http://castor.house.gov/District/Map.htm
Talk about gerrymandering. Note she represents every ghetto in Tampa Bay.

Personal story. Sorry for the length.
Many years ago I went to a government-run clinic for a routine gynecological check up. I was working for a temp agency and didn’t have health insurance at the time. After the check up weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything about the results. Then I called in and they said that I had ‘stage 5′ precancerous cells on my cervix. They said it was urgent that I have a procedure to take care of it. I was panicking. They didn’t explain anything to me about my condition. I went in for the procedure. Afterward another few weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything from them about how things went. More time went by and finally I called again and they said that it ‘was back’ and I needed another procedure. Mind you, a LOT of time had already passed. They performed the second procedure and unfortunately I still had the problem. I was terrified. I thought I was going to die. A friend recommended her private gynecologist. I didn’t have a lot of money but I had to do something. This private doctor with a very successful practice examined me and said that I needed laser surgery right away and it would cost $1500. I explained that I had very little money and no health insurance. The doctor looked very concerned and offered to do the surgery for ONE THIRD of the cost. She was a saint! She took care of my problem, explained the whole thing to me- that I was not going to die, but if left untreated for years, that I would.
Moral of the story– do not leave your health in the hands of the government.
Urban Infidel on August 7, 2009 at 8:36 AM
Hmm, every available statistic says that we have the best medical system.
The fact that people from all over the world come here for medical care indicates that we have the best medical system.
But liberals don’t deal with facts, they deal with emotion and control. So they declare that since they don’t control the system, it can’t possibly be the best.
Then they resort to insulting anyone who disagrees with them because they know better than to try using facts or reason, since they are severly deficient in both.
MarkTheGreat on August 7, 2009 at 8:43 AM
Basically you see here the basic liberal motive.
It’s the fact that people can afford better things than they can that bothers them.
They don’t care how bad the system is, so long as nobody is permitted to have more than they do.
MarkTheGreat on August 7, 2009 at 8:46 AM
That’s why she freaked out when people from all over the area came to shame her.
Key West Reader on August 7, 2009 at 8:49 AM
I didn’t think it could get worse than Steny Hoyer reaching back to a state project in 1825 for an example of a government program that works, but now this lady is saying that the twin fiscal train wrecks of Medicare and Social Security are fine examples of government programs. Good Lord, does she think we’re that stupid?
Kafir on August 7, 2009 at 9:08 AM
I noticed that too. I suppose if you are so short-sighted that you think “Hey, my Social Security check didn’t bounce this month, the program must be doing fine”, this sort of argument will be persuasive for you. Of course, if you think that, you probably already lean left.
venividivici on August 7, 2009 at 9:50 AM
So one of the biggest problems with health care costs shows up to scare up some business???
Nice.

Umm… she represents almost the entire city. Including the nicest parts–all of South Tampa, Davis Islands and Harbor Island.
jonknee on August 7, 2009 at 10:32 AM
Why not use that same tactic..gently push the face to the side like that ambulance chasers wife did? No slap, just contact to some of the SEIU plants faces. Remember..they are trying to initiate violence to use against the people.
Something tells me the arrogant and pompous union stooges would just not stand for it. They can’t even stand the existence of someone handing out cards outside of the meeting without attacking them.
Itchee Dryback on August 7, 2009 at 10:34 AM
Sorry but they are both equally in each others’ face. Nice spin though. The fear is palpable.

Yep, it is palpable…from the White House.

Typical leftist troll tactic; they depend on the fact that Barry is too well mannered to punch a woman, no matter how much she deserved it, so Mr Castrato Lawyer husband sends her in to do the hitting. What a p@ssy.
