Happiness is being old, male — and Republican

If you’re thinking that Republicans are happy just because they perhaps make more money, that does not seem to be the case. The study that found Republicans to be happier than Democrats also showed that it held true even after adjusting for income.

Is that a joke? They can’t be serious.

I can hear Barry now. “Senator McCain seems to think happiness inequality isn’t a real problem in America. Well… try telling that to the secretary from Cleveland who has to work two jobs to pay for her kid’s leukemia medication… Try telling that to the construction worker from southern Florida who…..” Oh, can I hear it!

In the leftist world view, everyone is a victim, and victims aren’t supposed to be NAPPY. they are supposed to be aggrieved, resentful, angry. Happiness is alien to a leftist, as is democracy, merit, and shame.

I’m sure barry has his team of thugs trying to figure out how to take our happiness and redistribute it to those poor leftys. You only gained that happiness on their backs you know!

Since when is that good news? Sure it’s great that certain groups of people are getting happier, but it shouldn’t be considered good that others are becoming more unhappy. All this ridiculous focus on “gaps.” Why don’t we focus on making things better for everyone, rather than making things better for some and worse for others just so that a perceived gap disappears. Kind of reminds me of something someone said here a while ago, “liberals would be okay with us all going to hell in a hand basket, so long as we would all be in the same handbasket.”
