McCain’s the best! He’s a great patriot and defender of the middle class. Moderate too! Independents should get to know more about him. Go to http://johnmccain.com for more!
Dangit. I was (and still am, I guess) more or less reconciled to voting for JMac because he beats the other alternatives… but this is just embarrassing. Doesn’t quite “get” this whole interblogweb thing, does he?
There was a commenter here at HotAir that came in with his very first post ever to defend McCainon this thread. The commenter’s name is blogpre and he came in with a long post to defend McCain on his goofy global warming policies.
blogpre made that post and has not posted again since. Was he a recruited troll for McCain, don’t know but I find that odd.
I responded in that same thread to blogpre and ask him if that message was approved by John McCain, he did not respond.
Are you out there blogpre, are you a McCain troll… just asking.
At the risk of being falsely accused, I’ll pop into this thread. I actually think this is a goofy idea, because every comment favoring McCain will get a “You just wanna earn points” reaction.
The only time I’ve ever been to his site was to order a bumper sticker.
I find McCain a weak candidate, and, on half of the major issues, utterly wrong (border security, “Climate Change”, campaign finance reform/free speech squelching, drilling at ANWR, etc., etc.) but, compared to Tyro and Ninevah Obama and Tugboat Hillary, I must hold down my gorge and (gagging-all-the-way) vote for him in November.
Any “troll” who tries to sell Juan McShamnesty as anything but a risible lesser evil will convince no one.
He’s agressively mediocre, but the alternatives are hideous.
If you thought they were telling the truth four years ago about a Democrat, perhaps you should pay attention to what they are saying now. It’s the same guys behind both sites.
Blowback

The McCainiacs can spread their propaganda ’till they turn even bluer than they already are—it won’t change my mind.

Yes, what the blogosphere needed most was more shills (of any brand) to ruin it for the rest of us.

I guess the guys behind this site would get about 1M Negative McPoints.
They were considered good guys four years ago.

If it had been Huckabee, not McCain, doing this point system, imagine the “abiding antipathy” that would be displayed here…
This HotAir thread would have 800+ comments.
