Obama has shown he doesn’t like to be questioned. When pressed last month over his relationship with Chicago slumlord Tony Rezko, Obama told the reporters to back off saying, “Come on guys; I answered like eight questions.” On the debate, he called it “the rollout of the Republican campaign against me in November,” ignoring the fact that if that is so, he demonstrated that he is not prepared to take them on.

Has anyone else noticed that KP’s site (powers-point.com or whatever it was) hasn’t been working since she became a full time analyst for these primaries? Wonder why?
Is she trying to disguise that she’s in the tank for hillary?
lorien1973 on April 20, 2008 at 11:39 AM
She’s not in the tank. She’s written at least one column knocking the Clintons pretty hard.

I’m increasingly partial to the term “Barackofascists”.

And apologizes for all the obvious deficiencies in Hillary or totally overlooks them. You’ve done the posts, AP. You know how it is with her.
It’s simply interesting that she’s shut down her site during the campaign to hide it.
lorien1973 on April 20, 2008 at 11:56 AM
I actually feel really really bad for KP. She has probably the most difficult job of all the pundits. She is a staunch Democrat who is an eloquent defender of their cause. But she is also COMPLETELY Hillary #1. If Hillary was the nominee and eventual President she could have done whatever she wanted. If Obama, they will probably not grant her the access that someone in her position in the D party might deserve. So here she is in position to have to support Hillary by kind of bashing Obama without actually bashing Obama. In this article again, it was about not wanting the D party to break up. . . but it took the tone of ‘Obama is killing the party’ instead of the typical D line that Hillary should quit.
Head up KP, it’ll all be over soon.

Web Archive has a longer memory.

We’re all in the tank for somebody. No use denying it. How much it affects what she writes is the issue. My opinion is that she is doing a fair job — and 100x better than the majority of the msm.
I am curious if any of the Sunday talking head shows have addressed the nutball attacks on ABC, Gibson, and Steff.
Blake on April 20, 2008 at 12:05 PM
Agreed. I thought she was unfair at times last year in knocking Rudy for things Hillary was also guilty of, but she’s been critical of the Clintons both on the air and in her columns since the primary season started. Everyone who thinks she sharply prefers Hillary to Obama is simply wrong. Trust me.

I gotta admit I’m really enjoying the shootout at the OK Corral. Regardless of the outcome, I’m anxious to see the returns in detail. I expect to see extreme polarization – Hillary districts voting overwhelmingly in her favor and vice versa. This is not what Mr. Yarrgghh! wants to see.

That’s a shame.

If I were the Dems I wouldn’t be too worried. If this election has proven anything is that things change at such a rapid speed. Who knows, six months from now McCain might be looking at a landslide loss.
terryannonline on April 20, 2008 at 12:40 PM
I’d change might to will. It’ll be epic. No one is donating to McCain. He’ll be swamped with ads against him, no matter who the nominee is.
lorien1973 on April 20, 2008 at 12:41 PM
If Obama doesn’t win the nomination, donations won’t be flowing in to fund Clinton’s campaign. Ultimately, the democrats may come together to vote for her but there are going to be huge sour grapes.
Blake on April 20, 2008 at 12:49 PM
She is in the tank for the Democrat party. She has a hard time expressing her opposition to anything a liberal may do. She defends any action that she is asked about. I know she has spoken out against certain things Obama, or Clinton may have said, or done, but she always seem to dismiss it as not the real issue’s. She always looked like such a tool along side Michelle. While MM would blast the Republican’s with as much force as the Democrats, KP would look foolish in comparison, by defending the Dems with all her might. Anyone who is unable to criticize their own party will never be able to change that party. I hope we are in the process of cleaning house in the GOP. If we are able to accomplish this, we can thank Malkin, Levin, and others. Kirsten, if you see this, drop the talking points, and come up with an original thought once in a while. It would help you, as well as your party.

Won’t someone please unite us?!
Akzed on April 20, 2008 at 1:42 PM
I’ve seen KP criticize the Dems, though not as forcefully as MM with the Republicans. She’s on record as being a staunch pro-life Democrat, and she’s a big fan and supporter of Crisis Pregnancy Centers, which the pro-abortion left absolutely hate.
Unfortunately the GOP is cleaning house – they’re cleaning out the conservatives.

There are many true statements in this article, but this is my favorite, and most powerful one
Entelechy on April 20, 2008 at 3:03 PM
So so sad. It is entirely possible that McCain will pull off a Reaganesque whupping this fall and we’ll all have to find a way to live without socialism. gosh, maybe we’ll have to live by our own skills / our own earnings – without income-wealth redistribution (I really mean without an increase in income-wealth redistribution).

Good Lord, the Messiah(change be upon him) gets ticked off when people challenge him? Challenge him?
He’s running for President. Not “king.”
wise_man on April 20, 2008 at 3:47 PM
Yeah, I keep hearing about how this is tearing the Democrats apart.
I don’t remember the Dems worrying about how the constant criticism of Bush and Iraq was tearing the country apart.
