good point… how dare they air a debate that actually deals with issues the voters care about…
I had been saying for months, especially about the earlier debates, that they are more like press conferences and free advertising than actual debates.

Obama’s convoluted capital gains tax answer was a brutal reminder to folks like me that he is indeed a redistributionist, and someone who seems to see the tax system as a way to decide what people “deserve” to have and keep.
And the fact that you would like to sweep this information under the rug makes you, Sullivan, NOT CONSERVATIVE. Of all the things a president can do to ‘make a difference’ (read CHANGE) in the lives of voters, taxes is one of the most glaringly obvious.
Basically he’s saying, ‘vote for me and I’ll raise the taxes on 100 million Americans who own stocks’. Who would vote for that person? Nobody. That’s why the Democrats are going to lose. That’s why this is really the only important thing that they should debate about. Taxes effect everyone no matter how they nuance the ‘tax the ‘rich” aspect of their tax hikes.
Blowback

You know, to think I was defending Sully the other day too…
I probably won’t defend him again, he’s actually the fool now.

He’s always been empty. It’s just beginning to be obvious.
SECOND LOOK AT TRANSPARENCY.
