Murtha is only in the “lean yes” column? My God, we could actually stop this.
On another note, I don’t see my rep. listed anywhere. I can only hope that means he’s a firm ‘no.’

Only 55? The democrat party will not survive Barack Hussein Obama.
How the frak did Moore KS3 get on that “Lean No” list? He is in serious trouble here, he knows it, and everything I’ve heard says he’s going full-bore Pelosio. Anecdotal stories have people calling his office, only to have the staffer say “we don’t care what you think about it!”

You know this could be another thing they are doing. They understand their political peril and have nothing to lose, per say other than their seat…but if the loose the seat they still get the “retirement” plan.

What…where the he1l is Ellison(D-Saudi Arabia/MN) on the “leans no” list? *laughs*
Our dem rep (Staten Island) is voting no on this version.
Mommynator on November 7, 2009 at 11:35 AM
Boswell (D-IA Des Moines) is my house rep. He is not undecided, he will vote yes…He is too connected with the liberals here in Des Moines to vote no!
Rndguy on November 7, 2009 at 11:37 AM
Anyone know where Foster D-IL stands on this? I’ve called and emailed my opinion. I’ve looked at his site and see no indication of his position. Thought I would ask here before I call back again.

LOL that’s the funniest thing I’ve read all day. His office is clueless what is the bill only that he’s voting yes.
Can Bachmann get Downtown at the next redistricting so I can have an adult represent me?
gophergirl on November 7, 2009 at 11:41 AM
There are a number of for sure no votes that are not on this list, such as Gordon from Tennessee. Also, I wonder if Cooper would vote for it, considering he’s such a deficit hawk.

gophergirl on November 7, 2009 at 11:41 AM
No and no, you try and take Michele and there will a violent uprising here, though maybe you can talk John Kline into being your new rep.
Virginia Beach’s representative, Glenn Nye is on none of the lists. If anyone was paying attention, he is the member who wrote congratulatory emails to all his constituents on Cap & Trade collecting atta-boys for passing the legislation to those who were for it and atta-boys for voting against it due to the cost. These are the kind of people that are being sent to represent us, totally without a principles or backbone. It’s disgusting.
Cindy Munford on November 7, 2009 at 11:48 AM
Rick Boucher in VA better be very careful with his vote after Tuesday…his district is fairly conservative, and he’s already screwed the people by killing the coal industry there.
ladyingray on November 7, 2009 at 12:11 PM
They must have the votes or they wouldn’t be doing this! Because a no vote kills it for good.
petunia on November 7, 2009 at 12:13 PM
This is going to pass because the Dems are turning it into a vote of confidence for Obama.
This vote has nothing to do with health care.

Every DEM bill is a vote of confidence for Obama, and now that lawmakers are voting on bills they have neither created, nor read, votes are pure loyalty.
Defectors will be punished, as usual.
However, the bill has everything to do with healthcare. If it passes it will be used as proof the public wants the bill, since blue dogs will have passed it. This will be used to convince the public the tide has turned.
They are lining up liberal endorsements, like the liberal AMA, AARP, Conference of Bishops, to mainstream the bill.
The Blue Dogs are being staged as the lawmakers of ‘principle’ not party, and the press plays along
entagor on November 7, 2009 at 12:33 PM
Gabrielle Giffords from Tucson is my rep. If I call her office, what should I say?
At the very least I will say I expect her to attest to reading the bill before voting on it.
Then I will tell her to vote no.
commodore on November 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM
I thought Pomeroy (ND) was supporting the bill.

I think this list is inaccurate. Oberstar (MN) is my rep and he sure as hell isn’t worried about anything. If anything, he is an arrogant SOB who just follows the party line. Did I mention Klobuchar and Franken? Geez, I feel so represented.

Im sure that there have been some members given political cover to vote NO who will gladly step in and save Nancy’s plastic ass….Frank Kratovil from MD is one of them. He’s a blazing liberal.
He won in a largely Conservative district; he’ll get crushed in 2010, but he’d get the job done for the oppossum Pelosi
OSUBuciz1 on November 7, 2009 at 2:26 PM
WTF…one of the people on the list is Bishop (GA).
Now I know this list is useless. This is a Dem who won 65% of the vote in 2008, and represents a district that was Gewrrymandered to be as safe a Dem seat as they come.
Oh and he’s black too. Come on, a black Dem congressman from a safe district is even thinking of voting no against Obama’s #1 issue?
Who the hell wrote this list? Whomever it is hasn’t a clue.

It should be noted that Massa-NY only leans No because he wants full-on single-payer. He says he leans No because the Pelosi Plan is not radical enough.
If a vote happens, I bet he will be a Yes.
