Will loyal members inform on others for harboring suspiciously moderate views? Will anyone judged guilty have to wear a sign saying “Republican In Name Only” as penance? Will there be re-education camps? Will deviationists face the Enhanced Interrogation Technique of being forced to listen to the wit and wisdom of Glenn Beck, at ear-splitting volume, for days on end?
Or worse: When Sarah Palin’s memoir, “Going Rogue,” hits bookstores later this month, will the ideologically impure be required to read — and commit to memory — every golden word? Her publisher might consider culling the highlights into a pocket edition. That way, any Republican caught without a copy of “Quotations From Chairman Sarah” could be summarily expelled from the party.

I notice he neglected to mention that the republican candidate was to the left of the democrat. A RINO is one thing, but a liberal democrat is another. She declared herself as such when she endorsed Owens. Any “journalist” who can’t figure that out needs to do some extra credit.

Wait, does he mean Palin’s book and her supporters, or the “fake Going Rogue” book that will be released the same day with a nearly identical cover?
The libs that don’t memorize the fake book will be far more likely to get kicked out by the dems since diversity of thought is outlawed in their circles.

There’s a dialogue from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice that always comes to mind when I read people like Robinson:
“There is, I believe, in every disposition a tendency to some particular evil—a natural defect, which not even the best education can overcome.”
“And your defect is a propensity to hate everybody.”
“And yours,” he replied with a smile, “is willfully to misunderstand them.” (Ch. 11)

I thought we were Palinistas. Or Palinologists or something.
Look, dimbulb, this isn’t a top-heavy movement. It’s grassroots. Get it? That’s me a few million other conservatives who are tired of having the traditions and history of the great United States trashed by people who think we need to apologize for being the best nation the world has ever seen.

So if you’re “informed on”, what exactly are the repercussions? With what power do pubs hang signs on RINOs. No physical signs, just tagged with their RINO actions. And the conservative populace becomes educated as to who’s likely to represent them.
Oh, that’s so horrible! A concerned populace becoming educated and then using their VOTE to express themselves–and to try to get stuff done that they want done, instead of understanding their place as the “extreme” of the party that can only get what they want 10% of the time–if then. I can see the goosestepping, now.
What happened to the idea that their idea is more popular than conservatives? Unless conservatives are planning a coup (ala Hitler), there is no way for conservatives to enforce anything.

This is laugh out loud hysterically ridiculous. No leftist should be talking about the potential of re-education, as it has been occurring in this country for decades thanks to a near government monopoly. How does Eugene feel about school choice? I know how Palin does. Does Eugene support coercion when it comes to students reading certain textbooks? Name me a Palin supporter who wants to force “RINO’s” to read her memoir. The very fact that this tool has a job offering his opinion, combined with the fact that people take him seriously, is terrifying.
MORON.

What a hack. This is a pre-emptive strike on her book tour.
I just got home from this event. I wouldn’t say she “tore into” healthcare, but the MC and Wisconsin Right to Life lady sure did. Palin definitely took some major swings at Obama, out-of-control politicians, and Pelosi (who got a well deserved round of boos).
Immediate reactions: Palin is a great speaker (only had notes). She is passionately pro-life and delivered a very appropriate speech. She is drop dead gorgeous. I am really looking forward to her book tour–I think we will see the real SP. And I completely understand why she’s in the O Team’s head.

His concern for the health and success of the Republican party is so touching, isn’t it? He just hates to see any disunity or anything that might cause us to lose future elections. After all, the moderate meme was sooo successful in 2006 and 2008, it would be a shame to lose such a winning formula.

This is wishful thinking. They wish there was a civil war going on. I feel like the Republicans are finally coming to a meeting of the minds.
The party platform should be more than just words. Candidates should hold the same views generally as constituents.
Fiscal conservatism wins elections.
Can you imagine if Scozzafava had won and was now going to vote with Pelosi? There is no way she would suddenly become a conservative. And Dems would have there precious bi-partisanship cover. All the Blue Dogs could vote with the one Republican… we dodged a bullet!

I don’t know much about her really -some vague general things about her governorship- but you can tell when she’s set free and she gets into something she is passionate about, she’s a steamroller.
Hearing Obama and Palin side by side would be like night and day.
You just know the left is terrified. They may be talking point dispensers right now, but some (or most) know what’s what. Mr Robotic using his teleprompter and sounding like a computer; and when he’s off prompter he just sounds idiotic.
Oh and btw there’s his record as president that (if he is still president in ‘12) he will have to defend.
I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he isn’t the nominee in ‘12. The democrats are stupid (clearly), but are they THAT stupid to re nominate him? My God what a disater/joke he is.
Add to that Palin launching a full front assault on his policies, trainwreck time for the Dems. They know it, we know it.

Can anyone tell me what Sarah Palin has EVER done to make people think she’s a Stalinist? She was a very caring Governor for the state of Alaska and never forced her views on others. Oh wait – she had a habit of going after CORRUPT politicians – even in her own party. But she didn’t jail or torture any. She didn’t even waterboard them.
1. Gov. Sarah Palin never tried to destroy a news agency.
2. Gov. Sarah Palin never STOLE money from auto company bond holders and gave it to corrupt union officials.
3. Gov. Sarah Palin never threatened to use the power of her office and the power of the Alaskan press to destroy auto company bond holders who opposed her.
4. Gov. Sarah Palin never attempted to tell anyone in her State how much they are allowed to make in a paycheck or bonus.
5. Gov. Sarah Palin never attempted to use the power of her office to destroy any talk show commentator.
6. Gov. Sarah Palin never protected Black Panthers after it was proven that they had engaged in voter intimidation at polling places using deadly weapons.
7. Gov Sarah Palin never attempted to use the power of Alaska’s justice department to destroy a sheriff for doing his job and arresting illegal aliens.
8. Gov Sarah Palin never used the National Endowment for the Arts to spread propaganda.
9. Gov Sarah Palin’s cabinet and advisers never consisted of any Communist, Hugo Chavez cheerleader, Castro cheerleader, Pedophile protector or NAMBLA apologist, nor any individual who turned to Communist Chairman Mao for strength during tough times.
10. No supporter of Sarah Palin ever wrote a song about her and then forced children to sing it while video taping them.
Governor Sarah Palin did none of those things. GUESS WHO DID?
Nuff Said.
This “Sarah Palin is a Stalinist” quackery needs to stop – it’s worse than Trutherism. And anyone who makes up this schtick certainly has no moral footing to criticize a birther for their views.

Same difference. You know what they say: “Hell is other liberals.”
There is a REASON that liberals constantly fantasize about America turning into another one of their favorite Socialist “Workers Paradises”.
Of course no one who works at the Washington Post has ever been to a REAL Socialist indoctrination camp. But they live their whole lives trying to re-enact a fantasy version of one.
That would be perfectly fine – if that’s as far as it went. The problem is that liberals aren’t the harmless kind of weirdos who go to Renaissance Faires every weekend. These (with all due respect) sociopathic freaks honest-to-God want to force everyone in the world to live in their version of a cholera-infested Medieval village; complete with some freak in a robe screaming “off with their heads” every five minutes.
And these (again, with all due respect) aggressively narcissistic overgrown spoiled children don’t have the faintest idea that their little make-believe world would suddenly stop being fun anymore if it was real.

I find it hard to imagine how anything could possibly be more serious than this.
The road to Hell is paved with liberal intentions. Understanding the difference between what we CAN control and what we SHOULD control is the basis of all wisdom. The utter incapacity to make that distinction is infantile; and the willful refusal to try is puerile. But there is absolutely nothing about any of that which is in the slightest bit cute.

Why is it the only people who are aware of the “war” raging in the GOP are liberals? Yeah, Gene Robinson would really be my first place to stop to find out about what’s going in in the GOP.
Anyway, he decides that the “war” raging in the GOP is “compelling” (his word) than provides one example of this alleged war – Charlie Crist and Mario Rubio. Mighty time war.
Most importantly, Gene Robinsons hopes that theoretically, if the Limbaugh-Palin wing of the party nominate enough of scarrrryyy conservatives, the GOP will find itself in the same place as Democrats currently already are in reality – repellant to moderates and independents.

Easy 2 word answer: fiscal responsibility.
This is an urban myth promoted by the MSM. She was opposed because she is a tax-and-spend liberal. Her record is clear on this.
Do your homework, Mr. Robinson. Doug Hoffman is a Republican who ran on the Conservative party ticket since there was no Republican primary in this special election situation.
Wrong again. It is Obama’s radical policies that are driving fiscally responsible independents away. Every poll tells us this. He is not the change that independents voted for.

Of course we’re all aware of everything the liberals are aware of. No moonbat ever has a thought that isn’t shouted through a bullhorn.
The telling aspect of the liberal response to the “conservative civil war” is how really, really deeply CONCERNED the people who hate us more than life itself suddenly become about helping us to advance our agenda.
That’s the only part of the incessant primal scream of liberalism that we need to hear. It confirms that we’re on the right track.
