Government lawyers, and administrators can’t do it? Have to ‘outsource’ jobs to the private sector? What does the American Federation of Government Employees have to say about that?
Rule of thumb: If the article does not attribute party affiliation, the person in question is a Democrat.

If I’m not mistaken, the extension to this rule is: If the person in question is a Republican, every other word of the article will tell you.

I clicked on the comments just to find out if the lack of stated party meant what I thought it did.

Granted that the article was a Colorado Channel 4 story, so one could assume voters in Colorado know he is a Dem (well, except for your average Obama voter), however, this was also an AP story, so one would expect some party affiliation to be mentioned if we did not have a state-run media.
Funny how the cronyism is no longer a surprise worthy of commentary, only the resounding evidence of state-run media trying to pass itself off as “unbiased” while showing its bias.

Ritter is up for re-election here in 2010 so hopefully this story gets some legs. The state legislature minority leader, Josh Penry, just announced this morning that he is running to try and oust Ritter. If you start to see his name popping up in the coming months, please give him your support! He is a good conservative family man and has been an up and coming star in the Republican party here in Colorado. Ritter, on the other hand, is a pathetic joke and is ruining our state. He needs to be gone yesterday.

Dare I ask: Why the need for lawyers? Isn’t where the “stimulus” money is to be spent already designated?

Fortunately, many Colorado voters are showing signs of tiring of this do-nothing governor. He is easily unseatable next year by either the aforemention Josh Penry (see comment above) or former Congressman Scott McInnis. They will be the first steps toward trying to reclaim Colorado’s formerly red status.

When Republican/conservative does something like this: corruption
When Democrat/leftist/socialist/etc does it: “it’s for the children”
funny how that happens

When it’s AP news and party isn’t mentioned you just gotta know that person is a DEMOCRAT. Democrats are in disarray, unable to produce a leader, Roland Burris is the spokesman…..Oops, teleprompter fell over.
Blowback
