HuffPo
She will be the first politician to actually try to increase the population of retarded people. To me, it’s kinda like saying the world needs more cancer patients because they teach us such personal lessons.
Her first act as President: To introduce a Pre-K lunch buffet that includes lead paint chips. Sort of a Large HEAD-START Program.
She will then encourage women to hold off on pregnancies until their 40’s just to mix up some chromosomes.
She now is in favor of abortion only in case of diploid birth.
Update: Arianna’s yanked the piece, but the Internet’s memory is long.

Seriously word of advice to you Allah dont post anything ever again about Andrew Sullivan. The hate I have for him is so bad I might go off and regret it

Allah do you or Ed still need to ask why she did this? You have NO IDEA how it has felt for her and her family, all anyone with a heart can do is imagine. It isn’t some kind of politics as usual nonsense or that she NEEDS to stay in to prove she has “thick skin”. What the left has done to this woman and her family is absolutely despicable. But its TRUE!
I have been generally supportive of Palin for the past 9 months. I’m not 100% on board with her as the new Conservative grassroots Moses, ready to lead the people to the Promised Land, but generally supportive.
You make one remark about a piece that wasn’t 100% gushing over her, or point out that you don’t think she’s made a smart political move and then it’s like the final scene in Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Expel the heretic. Some quarters are well into Paulian territory.

You know that’s not the meaning of Palin’s words.
I have a special-needs child (ACC) and she’s taught my family and me the true meaning of living, of joy. Those are the kinds of people the world needs more of, with or without handicaps.
This wasn’t gallows humor, it was such a nasty parting shot even the HuffPo spiked it.

You know Obama goes around the world apologizing for everything he imagines America has ever done wrong. If he had a set of cajones he’d apologize to Governor Palin and the American people for the despicable behavior of people who support him. If this country has anything to be ashamed of its the way Palin and her family were treated by a certain group of the people of this country.
Unfortunately the left was very successful in destroying an American woman and her family. No matter what she does in the future I doubt that she can ever overcome the despicable treatment. I cannot publicly describe the contempt I feel for just about everyone on the left; for the animals who perpetrated this nonsense and equally for those who stood by and did nothing. As Burke expressed ‘all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.’

I think the rest of you need to stop and think about this subject from a realistic point of view.
Sarah and Todd Palin will spend the rest of their lives raising a son who will never be a productive member of society. A greeter at Wal*Mart? That’s if he’s lucky. First of all to live long enough, and second of all to get beyond bag boy. OK, the world needs more bag boys. Fine. Is that what she means?
And what about the other Palin kids? What does their future hold? If Trig outlives his parents, which one of them is going to get stuck with him? For the rest of their lives?
Oh, and then there’s “inclusion”. How many more generations of “normal” kids get short changed because public classrooms have all these Down Syndrome kids the world “needs more of”?
It’s one thing to promote acceptance of people with disabilities. It’s quite another to say the world needs more of them.
Something tells me if she said the world needs more homosexual kids the reaction would be a little different.
I hope Sarah and Todd Palin make enough money to be able to give Trig a happy life. But I wouldn’t wish that kind of stress and burden on anybody. No matter how loving they are.
Jaynie59 on July 3, 2009 at 8:30 PM
It’s time stuff like this gets shown for what it is. They whisper it, laugh behind their hands, and now were caught. Make ‘em famous for it. Make HuffPo pay for it. Rub their noses in it.
hoosiermama on July 3, 2009 at 8:31 PM
You are a fool. Children that aren’t up to Jaynie59’s particular brand of snuff are defective burdens. Downies, especially. Simple as that. Sure we can be cutesy and cornpone about how “precious” they are, but hey, we all know that they aren’t precious at all. They’re just expensive meatsacks with too many chromosomes.
That’s the stark, cold reality of it. And if you’re keen on romanticizing such obvious human flotsam as that (why?), then fine, but don’t drag your neanderthal sentiments into the public. If you do, you deserve to have the obvious pointed out to you.
Remember: we are meatsack need-machines. Some of us are more useful than others, but that’s the extent of our intrinsic value.

Nice try but they are never called on the carpet for what they say and it won’t ever happen. So the next time something horrible is said by a liberal, AP or Ed will link back to this article and NO ONE WILL CARE! I am sorry, I am sure that I am overreacting but that was just the most vile piece of mess that I have ever read. I tend to fight for people, even those who don’t need me to. Allah’s always been pretty fair about both sides of the Palin issue and I have never been a promoter of her but this was just too much. I am older and can remember a day wouldn’t something like this would never have been said out loud let alone written for publication. Again, I apologize for the emotionalism.

I’m sure the Palin’s appreciate your concern, and Down’s individuals everywhere appreciate your … pragmatism.
I, for one, wouldn’t abort a child for having Down’s, or for being homosexual, or for even being female (like so many others do). I doubt Palin would either. And Trig could be gay, ya know. Would he be more acceptable, more worthy of life, to the ever-lovin’ progressives then, I wonder?

Stuff like this article does put into perspective what Palin is thinking when she resigned today.
I still don’t think it was a good move politically–but for her poor family it was probably the right move.
Can you imagine the kind of heat those kids probably take at school? She is probably worried for their sanity. How could any child endure such things and be okay?

If this is some kind of criterion for being allowed to live, about 95% of Obama’s supporters need to be “disposed of”.
I was thinking in terms of raw numbers of dead bodies. Islam’s racked up over 250 million (according to estimates from these guys, http://www.cspipublishing.com/) and statism racked up about 100 million, according to “The Black Book of Communism”. Of course, Islam’s been in the business of killing longer, making statism’s ability to make so much headway in catching up even that much more impressive. Anyway, my point is that people on the Left, especially the sort of Left that would write such things as the article linked in this post, are human trash and I wouldn’t p*ss on them if they were collectively on fire.

Must respectfully disagree with you, and several others here who posted that they’re “done with” HA and AP for posting the link to that crap piece of sub-human article.
This is a prime example of what a very rare few of us were referring to back during the election. So many here were fed up with the Congressional GOP’ers, and were going to teach them a lesson by letting the Democrats take the helm for awhile.
Myself, and a very few others, kept posting that even though the Congressional Republicans had screwed up, to turn over control of the country to the Democrats totally would be worse than your worse nightmare. Liberals and Progressives had become so distorted to the far Left in their ideology and game plans for this country that many of us could see it would be the ruin of the US if they won back control.
But no, the moderates and so-called independents, and the squishy conservatives, and neo-cons, and all others who were fed up with how far the Republicans had strayed from their core values and principles, and were determined to send a clear message.
It would have been far better to keep them in control and change the makeup and send the message from election to election, plus by becoming activists at the core foundations to communicate our displeasure, while at least preventing the socialistic makeover being openly planned by Obama and his cultist minions…..
Now you’re going to beat up on HA and AP for publishing the truth about how bad things are and how despicable so many of our fellow Lib/Prog Americans have become? Give me a break!
Time to stop shooting the messenger because you’re not happy with the message. HuffPo has become too influential, and it’s time that the general voting public became aware of how vicious and mean-spirited these people really are.
We certainly can’t depend on the MSM any longer to be our so-called ‘public watchdogs’. Heck, they’re only just now breaking out of their glassy-eyed slobbering love affair with the Bamster! And they’re just beginning to get a clue as to how badly Obama is abusing the press for his own devious purposes and agenda.
Without Hot Air, Ed and AllahPundit getting the truth out there so many people, especially the fence sitters who haven’t realized what tough shape we’re in as a country now, can be informed, we’d be in even worse shape because next year they’d have an easy win due to an ill-informed voting public.
It’s time we stopped beating up on our own, folks! Time to rally behind and support each other, and I personally want to thank Ed and AP and Michelle for providing me with a daily source of the -real- news that is impacting my life and my world as a passionately patriot American!

Only someone who’s deathly afraid she’ll run for President would write something that pathetically sick. I might also add – the individual would have to be terribly insecure about “The One’s” ability to win in 2012.

I don’t have a problem with any single negative thread about Palin. We need to see what people are saying to BRAND them with their own HATE and document it.
But taken in their totality (on HA over the course of many months) is what grinds us down day after day. I think it demoralized many people and may have been by design.
Note: The reason why there were no McCain FANATICS is not because the supporters he did have were so measured and rationale. It was because he was so bland and boring and whishy washy. How can you be fanatical about that. He inspired no one.
The reason why there were Palin FANATICS is because she opened up the possibility of dismantling the corruption and graft inside the beltway. The DC power grid is killing us.

On-line geneticist fail. Folks with Trisomy 21 have a range of IQ’s – a range just like regular people do. Their range is 20-85 with 50 being the norm. Those with higher IQ’s vote, have jobs, get married, maintain homes, – actually get along quite nicely. Those with lower IQ’s live in group settings or at home. In all cases they all benefit from early stimulation and enrichment programs – just like “regular” kids. No doubt Trig will be enriched and receive the best of care.
Some with this genetic malformation have a condition that is a Mosaic – not all the cells are in trisomy – they can have an average or above average IQ. We do not know his IQ. And neither do you Jayne. You do not know what his capabilities within his IQ will be.
The average IQ in our population is 100 – and you know what that means – a while bunch of people are below average… what fate awaits them in your world Jayne? Will you allow them to sit near your perfect child at lunch? Or in Art or at PE? Because that is when inclusion happens, not during Math or reading.
Learn a little about Trisomy 21, it is not the curse your media and liberal overlords have lead you to believe. But please before you go about posting nonsense on a public discussion board have an inkling what you are saying instead of just parroting the party line. Go do some reading, talk to a parent, get some first hand knowledge.
batterup on July 3, 2009 at 11:57 PM
That’s precisely why I made sure to write this in my comment:
“It would have been far better to keep them in control and change the makeup and send the message from election to election, plus by becoming activists at the core foundations to communicate our displeasure, while at least preventing the socialistic makeover being openly planned by Obama and his cultist minions…..”
The Republicans we need to move out of Congress would have been far easier to unseat had we had the “moral high ground” in majority control. Incumbents, replaced as recognized for their RINO detriments, every two years, while maintaining enough control in DC to prevent the complete undermining of our country’s entire foundation and history.
Now the task will be monumental. But we can and will do it. What we don’t need are the seemingly whiny naysayers who are hell bent on demoralizing people with their defeatist attitudes.
I’m convinced that there’s a group of moles here, plants who are attempting to sound conservative specifically to be able to voice dissension in the ranks, while being rank pretenders.
Amazing to me how effective they’ve become in that campaign. Instead of an uprising blasting the disgusting HuffPo crowd and their divisive intolerance and cruel character assassinations of decent conservatives and Republicans, we have a mob mentality taking hold with the aim being to hang Allah, and hang him high, for daring to expose the insanity of the Lefty’s.
Doesn’t anyone but me see how completely and utterly ridiculous and insane that mentality is? Have I become a conspiracy nut? Or do I simply have the ability to step back and look at the bigger picture and ask intelligent questions?
I don’t know. But I sure don’t like what’s happened in this comments thread one bit. It seems to be a deliberate attempt by a few commenters to try to demoralize the rest of the readers here and to discredit Hot Air in some way.
Hot Air has become one of the most respected Conservative Blogs online, with a reputation for reporting the truth, and for researching the issues and events to get their facts straight.
What better way to undermine Hot Air than to start a campaign to intentionally demoralize their regular readers, and turn them off enough for them to go away and not come back any longer?
Isn’t that what one person wrote, that they’d had enough and were going away? Isn’t that just the perfect agenda for creating sock puppets to try to demoralize others and disrupt and try to destroy and effective conservative blog?
Hello!?!!!!
I’m sorry, but there are damn few places to go these days to get the -real- news that’s important and impacting our country and our individual lives and freedoms. If I have to wage a one-person campaign to counter what I’m seeing as a deliberate attempt to destroy one of those reliable and respectable places, I will.
Lord knows, if Obama and his crowd isn’t slowed down, we just may lose talk radio as a source. Somehow we’ve got to protect our reliable sources for the news, and Hot Air is a proven source. Guess I’ll have to monitor all the articles and comment threads, because once gone, there’s no getting it back, and I don’t intend to lose Hot Air as a respected source for the news!
KendraWilder on July 4, 2009 at 12:22 AM
I don’t Twitter, either, and don’t intend to start. But I do intend to start being a more active commenter here. Normally I read through the comments, and if someone else has voiced something close to my own opinion, then I won’t waste the space and other readers’ time by repeating it by posting something similar.
But in the past few months I’ve become increasingly disturbed at the number of newer commenters who seemingly have become “regulars”, who have been posting subtle and sometimes not-so-subtle posts that are negative opinions about AP, Ed, and Hot Air in general.
Hot Air is not the personal playground of any one of us. We are all guests here. The Hot Air group, being Michelle, Ed and AP, post their wrapup and op/ed articles about current news issues and events. We, as readers, get to be informed, and in comments sections get to write our own opinions and “takes” on the issues in focus.
If we do not like the way that Michelle and Ed and AP run the place then we can go elsewhere where pundits are posting a slant that is more in line with what we ourselves believe. But to try to get HA to change its ways to suit our view or take on the world at large is just plain wrong.
Period.

The Swedes.
I realize that you meant Nazis, but the Swedes actually “lived the dream” for over 40 years.
Over several decades and ending only in the mid 1970s those Nordic bastards sterilized several thousand women (many against their will) that they deemed unfit to breed for one reason or another and wanted to weed out of the gene pool.
One of the dirty little secrets of the country whose socialized medical system is so often held up as a success story is that they managed to keep costs down in large part by preventing the births of those who might be a burden on the system.
They ended that barbaric practice when international pressure got too high and have been repenting for it for quite some time now. They’ve moved onto more civilized, enlightened, socially acceptable practices now, like gender-based abortions.
I hear it’s a wonderful place to live, if they let you.

Making sure that it is seen isn’t going to change anything, this is the “new” media that is now accepted enough to have a reporter get a question from the president at the White House. Do you think that posting this piece of garbage is going to shut down their access? For me it just magnifies what they get away with while painting Republicans with what I have to assume is the image they see in the mirror. And people believe them.
Cindy Munford on July 4, 2009 at 7:53 AM
If you’re not allowed to flip out over something like this, what are you allowed to flip out over?
If you can’t be unfair to Allahpundit (VBUH*), who can you be unfair to?
It’s not going to have a negative impact on HuffPo’s status, unless people generate enough grief about them to the elites in the media and politics so that they feel the Heat. Instead of at AP, it’s at HuffPo and the rest of the media and leftist politicians that the anger has to be aimed.
A lot of the vile comments about Republicans are projections of characteristics in leftists. However, we also have to be vigilant about those in our ranks that feed into the Left’s memes about us that we are greedy and heartless, or theocratic, or ignorant, racist, bullies. So, I am really hoping Jaynie59 is one of theirs and not one of ours. We need to both paint the Left for what they are, and keep removing the blemishes we ourselves have.
