But isn’t this akin to being attacked by John Cole, Andrew Sullivan, and other so-called former conservatives so enraptured by their own arrogance that they can’t bother to check facts?

I suppose it could be considered a badge of honor – but honestly – Frum is nothing more than “white noise” fritter.
He’s not half as smart as he thinks he is and …
He’s really irrelevant to Conservatism.
Frum is an ankle-biter and a fame-chaser. Every time he drops out of the news he tries to claw back into it by attacking Rush or Sarah. Pretty pathetic – without these people no one would know who Frum is.

A triple helping of awesomeness. Read the whole thing!
fiatboomer on June 10, 2009 at 10:48 PM
Oh yeah, that’s the ticket. Read the article, but if you really want to understand Frum, click on the Mark Levin radio segment. The guy’s 15-year-old son (!) called Levin and Levin wouldn’t talk to him; he insisted on talking to Frum. It can’t be overemphasized: listen to the Levin segment.

Mr. Frum needs to give it up and admit he’s a Democrat.
Cindy Munford on June 10, 2009 at 10:55 PM
It’s sad that anyone has to waste time and mental bandwidth because of Frum… The guy is a horse’s ass of epic proportions.
It’s easy to say ignore him but it’s hard to suffer fools sometimes. Frankly I quit reading Frum about 90 days ago, I realized I was making myself dumber with every column.
Elastic Jordan on June 10, 2009 at 10:57 PM
Wasn’t he one of the ones that said they voted for Obama? If so I think he already has.
Kronos on June 10, 2009 at 11:02 PM
He claims he voted for McCain. But he’s still a jerk.
dave c on June 10, 2009 at 11:18 PM
Sorry I get my liberal “conservative” columnists confused all the time.
And yes… yes he is.
Kronos on June 10, 2009 at 11:24 PM
Mark Lewis wrote an excellent article. Be sure to read the whole thing.

David Frum is a Canadian that wears a 10 gallon @sshat!
Nuff said.
P. Monk on June 10, 2009 at 11:37 PM
Lewis 1, Frum 0. Frum got wrecked in that article.
V15J on June 11, 2009 at 12:00 AM
Why does it warm my heart so to see David Frum get smacked down?
Calvin Freiburger on June 11, 2009 at 12:02 AM
David Frum smells his own farts.
liquidflorian on June 11, 2009 at 12:09 AM
That can only be taken as his saying that all who opposed the Iraq war or even staying year after year to Islamic “nation build” there are unpatriotic, so I feel free to ask just what branch of the service were you in, Frum? Army? Marines? Other? What combat zone? Or is Frum just another all-show-and-no-go Huhnerfalke?
MB4 on June 11, 2009 at 12:09 AM
Read Mark Lewis stuff all the time. Good man.

Americannodash on June 11, 2009 at 12:28 AM
Frum attacked Limbaugh’s intelligence?
You’ve got to be kidding me…
TexasJew on June 11, 2009 at 1:28 AM
Yet another reason to never pay attention to Frum again. The guy has thoroughly discredited himself.
WisCon on June 11, 2009 at 2:17 AM
Wow he put the smack down hard.
Dr. Manhattan on June 11, 2009 at 3:19 AM
He should also admit that he’s dull and boring – and a complete momma’s boy.
HondaV65 on June 11, 2009 at 5:47 AM
Frum’s not a Democrat necessarily, he’s just an incredibly thin-skinned tool.
Listen, Dave, if you don’t like it when people call you out on stuff, why don’t you just stop talking already? You obviously don’t have the stones for actual debate.
Red Cloud on June 11, 2009 at 6:13 AM
The egregious Frum makes another friend.
Physics Geek on June 11, 2009 at 8:00 AM
In a battle between rabid paleocons and slimy RINOs, i support both sides right to fight to the death.
Aristotle on June 11, 2009 at 8:05 AM
That’s gotta hurt.
Topsecretk9 on June 11, 2009 at 8:22 AM
Frum should try to form a whole new party with Sen. Lieberman.
I think that they are political soulmates, which is not an insult to either of them.
The Democrats have left Sen. Lieberman behind. Frum has left the GOP behind. They should go forth together.
myrenovations on June 11, 2009 at 8:37 AM
Excellent comparison to Excitable Andi Sullivan and douchenozzle supreme Johnny Cole.
Good evisceration of Frum by Lewis.
PimFortuynsGhost on June 11, 2009 at 9:26 AM
That’s what I don’t get about the Frums and the GOP ‘maaaaavericks’. Instead of screwing your party on votes and attacking various members of it, trying to change it on 3-4 major platform issues like immagration and various social issues; why don’t they just try to change the Democrat party? About the only issue Frum seems to have a problem with the Democrats on is nationial defense. Why not try to agitate change on their side on one issue instead of 3 or four in the GOP? Doesn’t make sense to me.
