“If these numbers are sustained through Election Day — a big if — Republicans could be expected to regain control of the U.S. House of Representatives.”
I’m just hoping that the Republicans pick up the Senate.I would love nothing more than to see Harry Reid have to give up his position as Senate Leader.

God I hope this draws away some resources from the Dems.
Did anyone notice a recent spike upwards in feverishly coordinated disinformation spouting by the Obama cells, including the MSM? As the polling results get higher and higher for McCain/Palin and Republicans in general, their fever will get higher and higher. Be prepared.

That’s my main parayer if Obama wins. That congress will have a republican majority to neutralize what the messiah wants to do.
If the democrat internal polling shows these numbers to correct or even close they will be faced with some heavy decisions; where does the bulk of the money go, Obama or Congess? With Bambi’s money running low it will be time for “executive” decisions.

I hope to God Republicans will quickly shed that “we-are-going-to-lose-this-year” attitude they had most of this year and start working really hard to take back the house and senate and the white house. Don’t settle for anything less.
After speding an year and a half dreading the Obama presidency, I am finally relieved.

Can you imagine the fury of the African American community, if Obama loses and they find out that in the month or two before the election, the DNC started pulling money away from the One, and sending it to congressional and senate races?

With only 18% of Americans in August saying they approve of the job Congress is doing, similar to the average 20% approval rating for Congress all year, the Democrats in Congress have additional cause for concern. This scant level of approval could signal that voters are in the mood for change, disproportionately hurting Democratic incumbents.
So we see why Nancy APPEARS to be caving on the oil issue.
BUT she is only putting her poison pill in the bill… Republicans need to expose her trick.

*I have never had any doubt that we would win in Iraq.
*I have no doubt that we will win in Afghanistan, once the gloves come off as appears to be happening.
*Democrats will lose the Senate and House.
*BHO will lose the election.
*ANWR will be tapped.
*The USA will lead the World in energy innovation.
*The dollar will rise and prosperity returned to America.
I believe thse things because I believe in The United States of America and her citizenry to make the right decisions.
The Rebubs need to be constantly screaming about their plan for energy independence, and the Dems open opposition to it. They need to remind voters that gas was $2.20/gal when the Dems took control of Congress.

I am trying to analyze why the McCain/Palin ticket has taken off so spectacularly.
Everybody says that Palin has stolen off the CHANGE message, the glamour, the celebrity away from Obama but she has done something else also. She has taken away HOPE from Obama.
Obama’s hope, essentially consisted of saying, if he was elected, it will restore America’s standing in the world. After all the digusting anti-americanism thrown at her the last seven years, why any American should care for what the “world” thinks that is beyond me. Obama’s Hope is HIMSELF, not America. He never said elect me, and together we can make a better, more prosperous America but elect me, because it is essential to rid you of your fundamental guilt.
Palin on the other hand offered a very concrete vision of a shining American future. Build oil pipelines, nuclear plants, get rid of dependence on foreign oil, get jobs that will stay in America, blunt the heavist weapon in the armoury of all of America’s current enemies ie oil, get rid of corruption and morever, insist that America can reclaim its greatness( indeed if ever it was lost in the first place) following its own vision and not following the sclerotic European Union or “the global community”. That is HOPE. For the first time in years, many Americans and America-partisans round the world, have felt that the American expirement isn’t over yet, no matter what the naysayers say.
Sorry for being so garulous but I really hope Sarah Palin and the Republicans will pull this off.

See what happens when ya go around screaming “CHANGE! CHANGE!” ?
How cool would it be to see Harry and Nancy go down in flames? Remember when Daschle got booted?
I expect this to increase. Sarah Palin has COAT TAILS.
The thing about personal attacks is that they are personal. Sure, for the time being the media are mostly getting the crap on themselves, but over time the constant belittling is going to have some negative impact on her approval rating – there’s no way around that.
But all of this directly HELPS McCain – by deflecting attacks that could otherwise be directed at him. So the Presidential ticket won’t suffer.
And when it comes to Senate races, it will be just like with George Bush – he’s had a positive impact on elections he campaigned with, no matter how badly he himself was personally maligned. There’s what they ARE – a great man and a great woman covered in feces – and what they REPRESENT, which is just the “great man and great woman” part of that image.
