Other than not being able to spell, Quayle wasn’t a particulary bad vice President. He wasn’t a John Kennedy, thank God. Kennedy sucked and was probably the worst president in my lifetime (it is a very close race between JFK, Carter, and Clinton for worst president).

Democrats should be happy today if that were the case? Why are they not?
I love all these libs reinforcing the message that Obama is unqualified. They can delude themselves, but swing voters will look at that and go with the gray haired guy and get the Governor for free. Whatever Obama learned about foreign policy during his vast months of experience of the Senate floor, Sarah can learn in the 4 months before she takes office also.

Of course it would be better if she had more than two years as governor. Truth of the matter is she would be the VP. It’s excellent on the job experience. I hope that Romney might be part of the administration in some regard. Especially for the economy. A McCain Palin administration would have a lot of support staff. Tim Kaine was going to be Obama’s pick…guess he gets a pass on the experience front because he’s a man. Without trying to be funny, that’s the only thing I can come up with.
So why was Biden chosen instead of Timmy? Because Barry was asking if the tanks were in Atlanta when he heard Georgia was invaded. Tell me Biden isn’t there to ‘balance’ the ticket as much as Sarah. That’s kind of the point of a VP selection. The difference is that Sarah isn’t there to alleviate fears that her running mate can’t tell shinola from that other stuff when it comes to things that happen outside Chicago or Hollywood.
