Shortly after the earth cooled, I did royalty accounting for BMG’s special products division (greatest hits CDs, that kind of thing). I rode up in an elevator with Rick Astley once. Nice kid. There was no dancing, however. The elevator was small.
A metaphor for this entire campaign season. We were expecting Giuliani for the longest time and ended up very surprised to get McCain instead. And everyone expected Hillary to get the Dem nomination for the longest time before the they got rickrolled with Obama.
