Abortion appears to be a sacrament to "devout Catholic" Joe Biden. Although, to be fair, are we sure he knew where he was and what topic was under discussion? To sin, one must have enough capacity to form the intent to sin. And I really wonder whether Biden has that capacity any longer. 

Apart from that, yes, this is despicable. But other than Catholic Vote and Catholic individuals (quite a few of them, to be sure), this seems to be mainly flying under the radar. Even normally conservative Catholic media hasn't done much with it. They probably consider it par for the course for Biden.
