Here, perhaps, is a clue to what’s behind this deliberate mutilation of the language (among other mutilations). The video is only one minute long, but seems so much longer:
Prediction: At some point in the future—perhaps several decades from now alas—we’re going to look back on the gender and identity insanity of the current moment the way we now look back on phrenology and lobotomies.
The lobotomy analogy is spot-on perfect. We mutilated people for at least a couple of decades for what turned out to be mental illnesses and deficits that could have been addressed non-surgically ... which is exactly what we're doing with gender dysphoria now.
As for the video, this model is a staple on Instagram, at least. "I'm a [X], of course I ..." videos clutter that platform, although perhaps none quite so vapid as this one.
