Beeler: Put another billion on the birthday cake …

The Obama stimulus bill turned five years old this week, and Nate Beeler gives us the perfect way to celebrate it in today’s Columbus Dispatch:


The Boss Emeritus has a much more in-depth look back at the 2009 stimulus, but this pretty much sums it up.

There were 1,268 proven cases of fraud resulting from the stimulus program. In a sane world you would think that would be a major news story but the USA Today dismisses it saying, “Still, the amount of fraud discovered so far is far less than what investigators said they expected when Congress passed the stimulus package.”
