Video: We’re just a cold school, nobody come here

posted at 9:56 am on February 4, 2014 by

Thanks to the Weekly Standard’s Jeryl Bier, who forwarded this school-closing message to me. Yesterday, a Kentucky principal decided to offer a glam-rock message to his students and their parents to announce their weather-related school closing. Call it … Closingian Rhapsody:

The kids wouldn’t have understood the joke, but I bet the parents were laughing.

Scaramouche!

You would be wrong about the kids not getting it, Ed. Freddie Mercury is all over sites like Imgur, which skew very young.

Nah, you’re just caught in a fantasy.

Very nicely done. And my son and his friends love Bohemian Rhapsody. (I watched Wayne’s World with him when he was ~14; he got into it when that scene came along.)

Nice to see educators doing something besides anti-Bill of Rights indoctrination and climate change apocalypse.

So-o-o-o……

I guess it’s too late for pie.

You guys probably ate it all.

Damn!
