The dream is alive: Sandra Fluke files to run for Congress in California

posted at 8:38 am on February 4, 2014 by

Will the golden age of Henry Waxman-style progressivism continue?

Fluke has filed with the California state Democratic Party to seek its endorsement in the race for retiring Rep. Henry Waxman’s (D-Calif.) seat, according to the state party Web site.

A state party delegate confirmed to Post Politics that Fluke has filed and paid the fee to appear on the ballot this weekend.

Fluke hasn’t officially announced her campaign or filed with the Federal Election Commission, and she didn’t immediately return a request for comment. But filing for the state party’s endorsement means she’s now officially part of the process.

From “Greenback Party” to “Flat On My Back Party”….

Will she be handing out free condoms instead of handshakes while campaigning?

Given Fluke’s important political message, I think Rush should interview her on his show. You know, talk about old times and catch up some.

Prediction:GOP Pickup

I think she’ll hold stick to the seat longer than Waxman did.

FIFY.

She’s from Pennsylvania.

She went to school in NYC and DC.

Obviously she should run for Congress from Beverly Hills.

Stupid carpethagger.

She is quite, shall we say, ‘well traveled.’

Who has the Republican Party recruited to run for Congress in this California District?

Republicans can’t win if they don’t have a candidate who is willing, ready, and able to campaign for the position.

Here is a list of the candidates who have been mentioned as possible candidates to replace Rep. Waxman in California’s 33rd Congressional District:

Probable Candidates – 2014

Bill Bloomfield (No Party Preference) – Businessman
Wendy Greuel (Democrat) – Former controller, Los Angeles
Ted Lieu (Democrat) – State Senator
Sandra Fluke (Democrat) – Attorney
Marianne Williamson (No Party Preference) – Author
Brent Roske (No Party Preference) – Producer

California has a “Top Two” Primary system so only the top 2 candidates in the Primary election will move on to the General election, regardless of their Party.

So yes, the General Election could be 2 Democrats running against each other in this District unless the Republican Party can recruit a strong candidate.

Just what we need: another slut in congress…

A libindinous co-ed named Fluke–
By the glamor of politics struck–
Made a run for the House
But lost like a clouse
A new way she found to get f’d.

Ted Lieu is going to wipe the floor with her. He’s a very progressive Democrat, has a state Senate district that already covers most of Waxman’s district, has all the rich in Beverly Hills in his pocket. He’s a computer science grad from Stanford and a Lt. Col. in the Air Force Reserve.

California has a “top two” system where the top two vote getters in the primary appear in the general regardless of party so the General will probably be Lieu and Fluke, both Dems, as I think there are only about 36 Republicans in that entire district.

She is only famous because Rush was rude about her.

I hope she fails.

Never use the word “pickup” with Sandra Fluke…

Fluke will probably win…this is California, remember, and it’s a district that has been re-electing Waxman since I was a kid.
