It depends. If you’re looking at it from the standpoint of is he engaged the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the office of the President, then no he’s not very good. If you’re looking at it from the standpoint of getting results….uh, then no, he’s still not good. Ok, so basically he sucks at his job.

He’s a cleaned-up version of Sharpton or Jackson. What did anyone expect?

BuckeyeSam on January 6, 2014 at 8:54 AM

“Maybe”?

Sabercat2 on January 6, 2014 at 8:56 AM

…he’s a leech!

KOOLAID2 on January 6, 2014 at 9:58 AM

Of course he isn’t good at governing. He never had any intention of “governing”. He and his administration think that he (and therefore they) “rule”.

LibraryGryffon on January 6, 2014 at 10:10 AM

As The Won knows everything it is quite impossible for him to learn anything about governing.

Extremely skilled in the art of vacationing at the expense of other people’s money.

No sh!t? Really?

Dopenstrange on January 6, 2014 at 11:17 AM

The President needs us to give him an issue to campaign on, since he doesn’t handle the actual job of governing so well.

So basically, Obama’s purpose in the world is to promote someone else’s topics of import, and try not to get involved in implementing anything that passes as a result?

And people balk at me referencing The Manchurian Candidate?

But but, there was a halo around his head in all those pictures!!!

Cindy Munford on January 6, 2014 at 11:37 AM

Other than convincing morons to vote for him, what exactly is Obama good at?

Biden tried to tell us. He essentially described Obama as “Clean and new and doesn’t talk like a black guy”…

You beat me to it.
The first thing that came to my mind was “No sh!t Sherlock!”.

dentarthurdent on January 6, 2014 at 12:57 PM

That’s because that the definitions you’re applying are the old normal. He didn’t become President to govern, he became President to become the National (International?) Community Organizer.

And, we are a nation with a book-cover-judger majority. They got what they deserved, and we had to come along for the ride.

This. He has such disdain for what America is and has been. Not to govern, but to transform.

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” — Barack Obama, October 30, 2008

Paul-Cincy on January 6, 2014 at 1:21 PM

I don’t care, Obama is awesome.

tommer74 on January 6, 2014 at 1:54 PM

You forgot the “like totally…”.

dentarthurdent on January 6, 2014 at 2:47 PM

well when your goal is to fundamentally transform your own country into a marginalized player on the world stage and move your economy from a demand economy based on freely exchanging goods and services to a command economy, then yes he is indeed very good at that type of destructive “governing”. dumb@$$. hes doing exactly what he said he would do. and very well. when they stop pretending he is a president, like all the other ones, who cared about the well-being of his country, and not ideology, consequences be damned, all this hand-wringing would end. that being said: it wont.
