Harmony: The 12 Days of Christmas

posted at 12:02 pm on December 24, 2013 by

This performance by Indiana University’s ‘Straight No Chaser‘ a cappella group is fun, brilliantly arranged, and brings me joy each Christmas season.  Thought I’d share:

Merry Christmas!

That was pretty entertaining. Harmony is lacking in so much music these days. Particularly on Sunday mornings at my church. *sigh*

My pastor likes to say that God has given the gift of music to many – just not so many as think so. 😉

Nice funny bit, beautifully executed. I love Straight, No Chaser.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thanks, Guy. This is my favorite of their versions on YouTube.

In the Army I refer to it as being in “the key of ‘soldier'” (which is to say “ouch” for the classically trained ear).

(In church I am reminded that the psalam says to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.)
