There’s this great line from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy where Douglas Adams describes something so egregious that the perpetrator’s “own major intestine, in a desperate attempt to save life and civilization, leaped straight up through his neck and throttled his brain.”

If only.

ElectricPhase on December 10, 2013 at 7:32 PM

That’s a whole lot of stupid right there. In other words, just a typical democrat.

climbnjump on December 10, 2013 at 7:37 PM

“[nice enough to be here, so be on topic, and have a civil discussion] …”

Talking to constituents and citizens is her job.

On topic? The topic she’s there to discuss is the “Middle East”.

The people asking her about Benghazi were perfectly civil. They were just asking her questions she couldn’t answer. If she were black, then the questions would be called “racist”. Since she’s white, the questions are uncivil.

Stereotypical Northeast leftie. Dartsmouth. “Enviromental studies”.

“I’m not here to talk about anything except cell phone use on airplanes…oh…and concussions in the NFL”

BobMbx on December 10, 2013 at 8:21 PM

She’s a Leftist woman, ergo a hero!

Leave her alone, wingnuts. What next, you wanna take away her birth control?

Fill-in Other irrelevant stuff!! Eleventy!

mankai on December 10, 2013 at 8:28 PM

Gross.

Sherman1864 on December 10, 2013 at 8:44 PM

Technically Benghazi is in Africa, not the Middle East is that what I’m hearing?

ctmom on December 10, 2013 at 9:12 PM

Ben Gazzie, Al Caida, Mike Hunt, Jack Meoff. Stu Pitt. Al Koholik. This woman clearly does not belong in public office.

jaywemm on December 10, 2013 at 9:17 PM

She is a woman, so shes got that going for her. She will inspire young women, as empty headed as she is, that they too can get into government to meet the affirmative action quota(until an actual Ms. Georgina Washington comes along).

mankai on December 10, 2013 at 8:28 PM

No, for that one, I’d gladly pay for her birth control myself.

climbnjump on December 10, 2013 at 10:08 PM

Ben Gazzi? He’s that dude that played the bad guy in “Roadhouse,” right?

CurtZHP on December 10, 2013 at 10:29 PM

This speaks volumes about the stupid people who voted for her.

Vince on December 11, 2013 at 12:33 AM

I bet she has serious flop sweat issues at all her “townhall” meetings.

Read a paper like Obama does maybe just maybe you will catch up.

MontanaMmmm on December 11, 2013 at 2:41 AM

“What difference does it make?”

Vince on December 11, 2013 at 12:33 AM

That’s what truly frightens me. The folks at that town hall meeting obviously know more than her. But she still won that district, so unless there was an unimaginable level of voter fraud, a majority of people in her district have an IQ as low as hers(if not lower).

Vince on December 11, 2013 at 12:33 AM

Thanks to very poor voting laws in my state we had a large number of fake residents last November, including Joe Biden’s niece Alana:

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tom-blumer/2013/07/25/not-news-bidens-niece-voted-new-hampshire-2012-using-dem-state-senators-

We absolutely must fix this, by removing same day voter signup and requiring a six month’s residence prior to being able to get a ballot.

Obviously the socialists will ignore the law if it doesn’t suit them.

ctmom on December 10, 2013 at 9:12 PM

Well, I would have to agree on that point.

The guy who said Benghazi was in the “middle” of the Middle East would need to get a map.

But, if we are talking about the figurative “Middle East”, then Benghazi is part of this, because we all know it is basically a discussion of Muslims vs. The West.

LoganSix on December 11, 2013 at 10:08 AM

Dontya love the talking head PR dude off camera waving his hand in distraction, and saying that “the congresswoman has been nice enough to share her time” with the audience today?

Isn’t that her JOB!?!? She’s not some royal visitor, she’s an elected official and its her job and duty to speak with her constituents, even if they have hard questions for her. I saw the same thing when Zoe Lofgren was confronted at a local town hall on healthcare and her answers sucked. Her handler said “she didn’t have to come here today to share her time…”

EasyEight on December 11, 2013 at 10:14 AM

Guys, lighten up. She’s probably 1/128 part Native American and on the Harvard faculty.

Ben Gazzi….Roadhouse. Classic. Thanks, CurtZHP.

Via Ace and the IJR, here’s what a great nation in its death throes looks like.

Well, it’s not dying yet, but it is certainly is well past the top of the slide downward.

itsnotaboutme on December 11, 2013 at 5:29 PM

She is exactly the elected representative the people deserve.

They voted for it.

Let it burn.

Neo on December 11, 2013 at 11:14 PM

We are bhere to talk about the middle east- Not Ben Gazzi. I don’t know who that is…

Kuffar on December 12, 2013 at 12:44 PM

Did anyone else notice how profoundly difficult it was for this woman to put the microphone back?

anuts on December 12, 2013 at 2:58 PM

Appropriately enough I misread the lady’s name as “Kluster”.

Mason on December 12, 2013 at 3:32 PM

This is Kuster’s last stand. Send her to Little Big Horn, if she can find that on her GPS.

In the same country as the shores of Tripoli. Kuster might think it’s near the halls of Montezuma.
